Amiami’s evening update tonight included a pair of new PVCs from figure maker Organic which were a bit of a surprise: Ninagawa Amuro and Mirei Shizuoka from Kenkou Zenra-kei Suieibu Umishou (aka. Umisho). Both are castoffable, 1/8 scale, and scheduled to retail at 7,140 yen, with Amuro coming in June and Mirei coming in July; sculptor and precise height information are currently unknown. Images of the pair are reproduced below:

The lack of detail on the faces are the major drawback on getting both of her. Regardless of how much i loved the series, they are failing to convince me to buy them.
And other thing, Mirei lingerie has always gave the show that extra goodness. xD
I have to agree with Optical, I would have considered the Mirei figure. But the lack of facial detail is going to keep me from buying it.
The noses on the figures shouldn’t be that low on the faces (either manga or anime versions). These look like cheap UFO catcher figs. This is extremely annoying, as I want an Amuro figure (since I’m translating the manga for TEA-Scans).
I would have wanted the figures, but luckily for my wallet the faces are awful!
@dayrain – No kidding… It’s not even a caricature version. I can’t even give credit for ‘artistic style / vision’ on this one.
@Optical – You’re right, the facial features are just plain bland. And what’s up with her collar bone? That’s creepy. {{0_o}}
Amuro’s face isn’t as worrisome as Mirei’s (which looks like someone sat on her face while molding it)IMO. Despite the lack of apparent quality in the sculpt, cast-offablity seems to make up for it.
I’m sorry but even if I was a super pervy guy the face on Mirei would be a dealbreaker. She looks like she has some mental/physical deformity.
I don’t care for either, but it’s not what they look like – it’s that damn price! What a terrible price for barely anything on a figure!
Deibi, I noticed that too…aside from the ugly faces there is very little to justify the price tag…
