Toy’sworks reveals Nogizaka Haruka’s secret

GA Graphic updated this evening with the news that figure maker Toy’sworks will be producing a PVC rendition of Nogizaka Haruka, heroine of light novel series Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (an anime version was recently announced as well). The figure depicts Haruka in her cosplay uniform and is scheduled for release “this fall”, at 1/8 scale (19 cm tall) and 6,800 yen retail. The sculptor is currently uncredited and castoffability uncertain, though skirt removal seems likely. An alternate color “honey lemon” version is being planned as well; more pictures are available at GA Graphic’s post. We’ll keep an eye out for preorder listings, which are expected within the next week or so. (no more)

Toy’sworks preorder bonanza

Preorders opened for seven (7, 七, Ⅶ) new items from figure maker Toy’sworks this evening. We’ve covered them all here in past weeks and months so I won’t go too in depth, but they are, in no particular order:

Figure images can be found at their respective Amiami links. (no more)

Koharu Biyori symmetrical docking Yui and Minori

First scooped back at Wonder Festival, a GA Graphic update tonight brings the latest word on Toy’sworks‘ Yui and Minori PVCs from Dengeki Moeoh serialized manga and ecchi OVA Koharu Biyori. We initially reported that they’d be selling for 6,800 yen each, but it seems that price has been revised upward to 7,800 yen; both are 1/8 scale and approximately 15 cm tall, with Yui scheduled to retail in July and Minori in August. Purchasing both enables the use of a special “poyoyon gattai” part for display in optimum symmetrical docking configuration. Apparently limited color versions of both figures are in the works as well. At this point we don’t have sculptor information, but we’ll be on the lookout both for that and preorder announcements that are likely to appear in the coming days. Edit: I forgot to mention that both figures are castoffable, as shown in our original Wonder Festival coverage. Visual evidence reproduced below:

Toy’sworks presents Shana collection, Maid wo Nerae! Mochida Natsumi

Toy’sworks updated today with information on their product lineup for July and August, including a Solid Works Collection DX Shakugan no Shana Second set of trading figures from Shakugan no Shana II, due out in July at 735 yen each or a box of ten for 7,350 yen. The series consists of six figures “plus alpha” (probably some secret alternate color version), with the sword-wielding Shana ver. A standing tallest at 13 cm.

Next up is the Mochida Natsumi PVC from Dragon Age Pure manga Maid wo Nerae! that we scooped here last December. She’s coming at 1/8 scale (18 cm tall), with release expected in early August at 6,800 yen. Her sculptor is currently uncredited.

Figure News: Toy’sworks announces Claymore’s Clare, Highschool of the Dead’s Rei

A final figure item to round out the work week comes in the delightful news from Toy’sworks that they’re producing a pair of figures sure to catch the attention of a lot of fans who didn’t expect them (myself included): first up is a PVC rendition of Clare, heroine of the Claymore manga and anime. She’s scheduled for release in June at 5,800 yen, 1/8 scale (13 cm tall) and comes with a removable cloak and exchangeable face part. Next up is Miyamoto Rei, heroine of Highschool of the Dead, the pulp zombie horror manga by Satou Shouji / INAZUMA of doujin circle Digital Accel Works. She goes on sale in May, at 1/8 scale (12 cm tall) with “sexy body parts” and her trademark pole included; the elevated price of 7,800 yen reflects both the extra torso and the “castoff tax” we’ve seen emerge over the past year or so – a tax I’ll gladly pay, in this case. Figure News: Toy’sworks Exelica unveiled, Pleasant Angels’ Ore no Yome Chouun preorder open

Two figures we scooped last month showed up on the radar officially today, the first being Toy’sworks’ Exelica PVC from Trigger Heart Exelica (scooped here in last month’s Hobby Japan). Now listed officially over at the Toy’sworks site, she’ll be coming out in May at 1/8 scale (28 cm tall with base included) and the rather steep price of 9,980 yen, tax included – no doubt due to the bulk of her suit equaling that of a second whole figure. In other news, preorders went up over the noon hour today at Amiami for the first entry in Pleasant Angels’ [ERO] Ore no Yome (“my bride”) series (scoop here), Chouun from BaseSon’s eroge Koihime Musou. She’s due out in late April at 1/8 scale and 6,090 yen, and is rated 18+. Pleasant Angels’ release history has been a bit rocky, but there’s nothing like a new castoff lineup to liven a figure company’s fortunes… Images of both figures below:

Figure News: galge figure preorder roundup

A few figures have been announced for preorder over the past couple of days that will likely only appeal to the fans of their respective bishoujo game franchises, but in aggregate are probably worth cataloging here: first up is the just-mentioned Noumi Kudoryafuka (Kudryavka) from Toy’sworks and all-ages galge Little Busters!; she’s due out in April at 1/8 scale (18 cm tall) with a sculpt from Akeji (Amiami search). Next is Kuze Kiriha, from Wave and August’s Fortune Arterial. She’s coming out in May at 1/8 scale (19.5 cm tall) and 5,775 yen retail, with a sculpt from Toukaimura Haraya (Amiami search). The current lineup consists of heroines from Da Capo and Da Capo 2, with Asakura Otome, Asakura Yume and Shirakawa Nanaka coming in late February, and Asakura Nemu and Shirakawa Kotori coming in March, all at 5,800 yen (preorders coming soon). [ERO] Figure News: Toy’sworks’ SRW Kusuha Mizuha (onsen ver.) official page online

Toy’sworks’ Super Robot Wars Original Generation Kusuha Mizuha onsen figure we reported on recently now has an official page online! The page confirms details already known (she’s scheduled for release in April of next year at 5,800 yen and 1/8 scale, 12 cm tall) and notes that the sculpt is from zenko of circle Iousen. There are shots of the kit from several angles, but still nothing to definitively confirm a castoff… zenko is an old hand at castoff figures however, which leads one to some cautious hope. We’ll be keeping an eye on this lineup from Toy’sworks as further news emerges. (no more)

[ERO] Figure News: Toy’sworks presents Super Robot Wars’ Kusuha Mizuha, in the nude

Figure Maker Toy’sworks today announced the production of a new figure line dubbed Suparobo no Yu (“Super Robot’s Hot Water”), a series featuring the heroines of the Super Robot Wars franchise in their birthday suits, lounging casually in an onsen. The first entry to the series is the popular Kusuha Mizuha, introduced in this image as 1/8 scale (12 cm tall) and set for release in April of next year at 5,800 yen retail. We don’t have absolute proof of her castoffability (or any idea of what’s under the towel should it prove to be removable), but this is one ero-ero figure regardless… we’ll keep an eye out for further news. Figure Review: Toy’sworks’ Suzumiya Haruhi (gakuran ver.) PVC from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu

Whenever I see the word “Vispo” a primordial reflex action is triggered somewhere in my brain stem that makes me hit the “BUY” button if one is within reach, and this Haruhi was no exception. Back when she was announced in May there was much rejoicing (along with a schooling in the meaning of the term “gakuran”), but when she was finally trundled out to an expectant audience earlier this month the excitement was somewhat abated. Would you trust Toy’sworks with your Vispo? After seeing this kit I’m not so sure…

Figure News: Little Busters trading figures, Mamoru-kun bikini PVC pair coming from Toy’sworks

Word is in from GA Graphic this morning on two new figure projects in the wings from Toy’sworks: first is a Little Busters trading figure set featuring the heroines of Key’s latest galge, slated to see release in April of next year. The set of six figures consists of Kamikita Komari, Natsume Rin, Saigusa Haruka, Nishizono Mio, Noumi Kudoryafuka, and Kurugaya Yuiko, each retailing individually at 735 yen and approx. 10 cm tall. Sculpting duty is from Sugawara of sculpting circle Roughness. In other news, Takasu Ayako and Emelenzia Beatrix Rudiger from Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! are both seeing bikini-clad PVC renditions, Ayako in February and Emelenzia in March. Both are 1/8 scale, 5,800 yen retail and sculpted by Saitou Koushi of Megatech Body. Preorders for both the Little Busters set and the Mamoru-kun pair are expected within the next few days.
