Resinya’s Louise castoff revealed

Moeyo! Akibajin Blog posted a review of Resinya’s camisole-clad Louise from Zero no Tsukaima today, and along with it the surprising revelation that she is castoffable (albeit unofficially so). According to Moeyo’s documentation the castoff procedure isn’t exactly easy, but her dress is removable without irreparable damage; the censorship in the post makes it impossible to tell for sure, but he says that her upper half (while contoured) is not painted to indicate deliberate castoff readiness. The figure was originally released in late April at 6,980 yen with a sculpt from Kazuki and is now available through standard distribution channels such as Play-Asia. (no more)

Resinya’s Shana, Noumi Kudryavka up for preorder

Amiami and other online shops posted listings earlier today for a Shana (regular edition noire ver.) Shana is due out in July at 1/6 scale (28 cm tall) and comes with with stool, tray, and headphones; her sculpt is from Hiroshi of Sakurazensen and she retails at 7,800 yen. Kudryavka is likewise due out in July at 1/6 scale (22.5 cm tall) and 7,800 yen retail, with a sculpt from Onsen Tengoku (blog); her cape and hat are removable. Both figures are receiving shop-limited releases: an alternate Shana (alice blue ver.) is coming from Amiami, and a Kudryavka (wahoo pose ver.) is coming from GEE! Store. Update: There is a GEE! Store limited Shana (strawberry ver.) in production as well. Images below:

Figure News: galge figure preorder roundup

A few figures have been announced for preorder over the past couple of days that will likely only appeal to the fans of their respective bishoujo game franchises, but in aggregate are probably worth cataloging here: first up is the just-mentioned Noumi Kudoryafuka (Kudryavka) from Toy’sworks and all-ages galge Little Busters!; she’s due out in April at 1/8 scale (18 cm tall) with a sculpt from Akeji (Amiami search). Next is Kuze Kiriha, from Wave and August’s Fortune Arterial. She’s coming out in May at 1/8 scale (19.5 cm tall) and 5,775 yen retail, with a sculpt from Toukaimura Haraya (Amiami search). Finally, Resinya has a page online for their “portrait collection” series of 1/6 scale busts. The current lineup consists of heroines from Da Capo and Da Capo 2, with Asakura Otome, Asakura Yume and Shirakawa Nanaka coming in late February, and Asakura Nemu and Shirakawa Kotori coming in March, all at 5,800 yen (preorders coming soon). [ERO] Figure News: castoff update – Metamo YUKI N., Resinya Sasara (updated)

A couple of small castoff status updates today: first from Moeyo we have word that Bandai’s upcoming Metamo Yuki that we scooped at the end of last month is cast in a separate piece from her dress, which may point to castoff of some kind (though the odds of anything detailed underneath are negligible). Also, word is in from ASCII that Resinya’s Sasara PVC (scooped in September) is in all likelihood bra-clad beneath her blouse. Rather disappointing for those of us anticipating a full castoff… 11/18 Update: Senaka Blog has shots up of Max Factory’s POLO System Fauna from Megachu in all her cast off glory, as well as sample castoff shots of the Guernsey version of Tsukasa Jun’s Holstein Hanako-san. Incriminating evidence below:

Figure News: preorder and limited edition miscellany

In limited edition news, a Nitro+ online shop limited Kuro no Franco will be released with additional scarf, different facial expression and different colored underwear; a limited edition pink Konomi (maid ver.) is coming from Kotobukiya shops, and an Amiami-limited Wildcat Anna will be available in silver. Also in from Kotobukiya via Akiba Hobby is word that we’ll be seeing a Shining Wind Kureha from them sometime next year. (no more)
