Animal Cafe Sairenji Haruna preorder open (update 2)

Happinet online shop Moe Soul updated late last night with a preorder listing for a Shueisha Solid Selection Sairenji Haruna (animal cafe ver.) PVC figure from To Love-Ru! She’s scheduled for release in July at 1/8 scale (13 cm tall) and 6,499 yen retail, and like the earlier announced animal cafe Lala she comes with some exchangeable parts (an “original sexy bikini” is mentioned in the listing, as well as her cat ears being attached magnetically). Sculptor information is currently unknown, but with preorder listings expected elsewhere soon we’ll keep an eye out for further details. Update: The figure is now listed at the official To Love-Ru anime site, which provides a few more bits of information:

Griffon’s catgirl Kanu Unchou PVC preorder open

We speculated on the fate of Griffon’s catgirl Kanu Unchou (nominally from Ikkitousen) back when she was announced in resin just prior to WHF Ariake 18, but I didn’t expect a PVC incarnation to be announced nearly so fast. Griffon updated their official site today with precisely that: a listing complete with preorder for their Kanu Unchou (nekomimi ver.) PVC. She’s due out in August at 1/7 scale (11.5 cm tall), with a sculpt from Akiyama Akio and an 8,925 yen price tag. She’s accompanied by chibi Chouhi and Ryuubi mascots, and her skirt is almost definitely castoffable. Figure images below:

Griffon goes nekomimi Kanu at WHF Ariake 18

I thought Griffon’s WHF Ariake 18 lineup was complete with their listing a few days back, but it seems such musings were premature – last night they unveiled a nekomimi-clad Kanu Unchou resin kit from Ikkitousen that will be making its sales debut at the event. The kit is an unpainted/unassembled resin cast kit with a total of 42 parts, 1/7 scale (11.5 cm tall), with a sculpt from Akiyama Akio (previous work includes this Hakufu cold cast from Griffon’s R-Line brand). The kit includes chibi versions of Chouhi Ekitoku and Ryuubi Gentoku, and it seems clear that the skirt part (at least) is removable. Griffon will be bringing 70 copies of the kit to the event, where it will retail for 8,800 yen; no word of mass production as a finished kit has been announced, but this is one we’ll be keeping a sharp eye out with the hope of seeing a cold cast or PVC version announced soon. Taki Corp. does nekomimi mode Ryomou Shimei

Figure maker Taki Corporation, king of the Ikkitousen figure conveyor belt, is at it again – this time with a new catgirl maid rendition of Ryomou Shimei. She’s due out in PVC in June, at full Taki price of 9,240 yen, 25 cm tall (scale unspecified), fully castoffable with a choice of two costumes and matching arm and leg configurations (nekomimi maid, and standard blue French maid). Additional gimmicks include an exhcangeable face part, handcuff accessories, and her maid apron removable to reveal a heart-shaped cutout that exposes her breasts. While they still don’t go to the trouble of crediting their sculptors the face on this one looks decent, and with the few design innovations present this is a somewhat tempting kit despite the poor paint job… images below:

Kotobukiya Nono, Tama-chan, Kudryavka, Leon preorders open

Kotobukiya unleashed four new finished PVC figures for preorder at their official online shop today, a few of which I’m betting will be big sellers when they see release in August (all four are August releases). First up is Nekomiya Nono (cat ears school swimsuit thigh-highs ver.) from Yotsunoha, coming at 1/6 scale (24 cm tall) with a sculpt from Abe Masato and a retail price of 6,090 yen. Next is Kawazoe Tamaki from Bamboo Blade, clocking in at 1/8 scale (18 cm tall) and 5,775 yen, with a sculpt from Kiohara Hidemasa. Third is Noumi Kudryavka of Little Busters!, 1/8 scale (17.5 cm tall) and 5,775 yen with a sculpt from Nisshii, and finally we have the odd man out with Leon Magnus from Tales of Destiny, coming at 1/10 scale (16 cm tall) and 4,410 yen with a sculpt from Tatsumaki. Kotobukiya’s Nekomiya Nono, in color

We brought you a first look at this PVC figure back in March, and yesterday evening Kotobukiya updated once again with pictures of their cat-eared, school-swimsuited Nekomiya Nono prototype, now in color. Nono is the heroine of Hi-Quo Soft’s eroge Yotsunoha as well as the recently released all-ages OVA by the same name (Japanese Wikipedia). As reported earlier, the kit is scheduled to retail in August at 1/6 scale (just over 20 cm tall); sculptor and price information are currently unknown. This is one of the cutest kits I’ve seen in awhile, and I’m guessing Kotobukiya will have a real winner on their hands here… We’ll be keeping an eye out for preorder information. Image below:

First Class Shining Force EXA Cyrille preorder open

Preorder listings went online today for newcomer figure brand First Class‘s second bishoujo PVC project, Shining Force EXA‘s Cyrille (regular ver.) and Cyrille (olive nekomimi ver.). Both versions are due out in June at 6,090 yen and 1/8 scale (26 cm tall, base included) with a sculpt from Mamecchi; the cat ears on the nekomimi version are removable, and the kits are otherwise identical beyond a slight difference in facial expression, so the production of an obviously more feature-poor standard edition is a bit of a puzzle. In other First Class news, a page is up on their official site for their Genjo Sanzo PVC from Saiyuki. He’s due out in May at 6,090 yen (non-scale, 200 cm tall) with a sculpt from BIRTH, comes with a LED base, and is available in advance preorder from Animate in white and denim versions (full preorder coming soon).
