Alpha Omega’s Lala, Yami preorders open

Preorders aren’t quite in evidence yet, but Alpha Omega listed their To Love-Ru Lala Satalin Deviluke and Konjiki no Yami PVC figures on their official site over the noon hour today, so it’s only a matter of time. Both figures are confirmed for release in September at 6,615 yen retail and 1/8 scale (Lala is 24.5 cm tall and Yami is 20 cm tall). Lala’s sculpt is from Yagyuu Satoshi, while Yami’s is from Tanaka Senu; neither figure appears to be significantly castoffable but we’ll wait for definitive confirmation on that either way. Bandai Metamo To Love-Ru Lala, Haruna preorders open

We scooped them ten days ago, and now here they are, looking not nearly as freaky as in their original introductory shots on the anime homepage: To Love-Ru‘s Lala Satalin Deviluke and Sairenji Haruna, in temperature-based color changing “Metamo” incarnations from Bandai. Both are scheduled for release in late August at 1/8 scale (22 cm tall) and 5,040 yen retail (sculptor uncredited). Lala’s bikini changes from white to black, while Haruna’s changes from white to blue. Images below:

To Love-Ru Metamo Lala and Haruna announced

The official site for currently airing Shounen Jump-serialized manga and romantic comedy anime To Love-Ru updated its figure section yesterday with the news that Bandai will be producing a pair of “Metamo Figures” based on the franchise’s two main heroines, Lala Satalin Deviluke and Sairenji Haruna. Both are depicted wearing black bikinis that change color to white when exposed to temperatures in excess of 30 degrees Celsius, and revert to black when lowered below 16 degrees (Bandai’s “Metamo” gimmick at work). Both are scheduled for release in August at 5,040 yen and 1/8 scale. Sculptor information is currently unknown; prototype images from the site can be found below:

To Love-Ru animal girl Lala PVC preorder open

The official online shop of publisher Shueisha updated today with a pair of listings (regular and limited) for two color versions of a new Lala Satalin Deviluke (animal cafe ver.) figure from To Love-Ru. Preorders are open until May 31st, and both are scheduled to go on sale August 22nd at 6,500 yen retail, 1/8 scale (17.5 cm tall), with a sculpt from Makio Munetoshi; the leopard-print version is the regular edition (based on her appearance in the manga) while the white version is “limited”, though precisely how limited is unknown. Figure production is from Kotobukiya. Both versions are castoffable both top and bottom, though she’s wearing some (very skimpy) lingerie beneath; preview images below:
