The first is the game's main heroine Endoh Ifrina, who will be coming in five variations of two main sculpts, with release scheduled for December for each. Sculpting duty is from Hormone-Man and the figures are listed as 1/1 scale (consistent with the gimmick of the game's pint-sized heroines), clocking in at around 12 cm tall. Retail price is 4,988 yen for all but the regular version of the second sculpt, which will retail at 3,780 yen. The second character to be portrayed in Giga's Figu@Mate lineup is Kanai Julialous, a 1/7 bust of whom is currently in planning with a sculpt also from Hormone-man. Further details on this release will be made available at the end of August. The image is chaotic and not very easy to parse, but from what can be gleaned it seems that there are at least four new games in development from the various brands: a new Mochizuki Nozomu-designed game from MBS Truth (or possibly an OLE spinoff), a new Gunner-L designed game (side-scrolling shooter included) from an OLE, a new Sano Toshihide-designed game from G.J?, and what appears to be a 3D remake of Ane to Boin from Tech Arts 3D. While she doesn't fit the normal spectrum of what I'd look for in a 2D girl, her phenomenal retro-futuristic design combined with the epic sculpt and sheer colossal presence of the figure compelled me to plunk down the large portion of paycheck required to fund her acquisition. All the pieces are in place for a truly historic figure, but does Daiki live up to the task? She originally appeared as a pinup poster in volume 4 of Ikaros Publishing's MC Akushizu quarterly moe mecha/military magazine (she also appears in the recently released Wild Flower artbook). The figure is 1/7 scale (22 cm tall) with production from goods maker Runa (Amiami search), and scheduled to retail at 7,140 yen in late September. Sample images reveal that she's an upper body castoff, and she wields an optional 12.7 mm M2 Browning machine gun. The sculptor is uncredited in Getchu's listing. She's scheduled for release in late September at 7,140 yen and 1/8 scale (8 cm high, 17 cm long), comes with a castoffable "Y-shirt", and in a first in the PVC figure world her feet are made from the soft, pliant material that has graced the chests of other figures in the recent past. According to visual evidence and accompanying text she'll be shipping with an exchangeable "soft chest part", presumably similar to Chichinoe+ 2 Young Hip Cover Gal (which was also delayed in a similar fashion). This is potentially both a plus and a minus, as it means her upper body is not cast from a single piece - resulting in seams such as the one visible here.
