Eroanime brand Nihiki no Dozeu official site open

An official site was opened on Monday for eroanime brand Nihiki no Dozeu. The maker is the Anik subsidiary brand responsible for the production of the second episode of Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro that we’ve been reporting on over the past month or so, and is apparently taking over operations from the Amour brand as well (Anik subsidiary Suzuki Mirano remains a discrete entity; their flagship brand Himajin closed in 2006). This is all very confusing but it seems the upshot is that we can keep an eye on this new site for current and upcoming news on Anik brand releases. The second Soramizu episode is still on target for its June 27th release. (no more)

Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro OVA ep. 2 announced

This particular item has been on a lot of folks’ eroanime wish lists for awhile now (mine included), so when the news of its production showed up at Getchu yesterday I was very happy indeed: at long last the conclusion to Anik/Himajin’s Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro eroanime OVA is being produced! Based on the 2004-released Ciel eroge by the same name, the first Soramizu episode was originally released in July of 2006. With the passage of time many of us abandoned hope that we would see further work from the combination of Taka Tony and Kuroda Kazuya, who has been occupied with character design duty on such titles as Kaibutsu Oujo and Spice and Wolf. The Getchu product entry reveals that the two will be united once again for this second episode, which is scheduled for release on June 27th. Production is credited to a new brand called Nihikime no Dozeu, which Getchu links back to Anik, the parent company of the now-defunct Himajin as well as brands Harenchi Restaurant Amour and Suzuki Mirano. [ERO] Anime News: new eroanime brand Suzuki Mirano launched, flagship title dubbed “Grope”

New eroanime brand Suzuki Mirano opened its official site on October 29th, along with the news that the first title in its production pipeline will be “Grope: Yami no Naka no Kotoritachi” and is based on the 2003 May-Be Soft eroge by the same name. Looking at the character designs and the font used in the page’s promotional text I’d bet dollars to donuts that this joins Himajin and Amour in the Anik brand portfolio, but with the current lack of information on the site it’s impossible to say for sure. It seems we can expect a full site opening some time in December. (no more)
