Daiki Kougyou updated their official site today with a listing for a new figure of Ikkitousen’s Kanu Unchou, based on the cover illustration of the manga’s 13th volume. The sculpt is from Hagii Shunji (Studio Saru Bunshitsu), and the figure is scheduled to retail in December at 1/6 scale (28 cm tall) and 16,591 yen. The kit is castoffable, coming with both a removable robe (carried in the hand) and skirt, as well as a replaceable un-bandaged chest part. Preorders were open at Daiki’s site but have since been temporarily retracted; international preorder listings are expected to appear shortly. Full gallery below:
This is possibly one of the best Kanus I’ve seen for the longest time - still, though, I wish they’d go to some other girls..

Apologies, I should’ve been clearer - I was referring to standard figure shops that offer international retail sales, not to Daiki’s online store in specific. As far as I know Daiki only ships domestically (within Japan) for orders placed via their website.
Damn, another Kanu figure to go to my collection?!?…Like Deibi Manabu says, I would love to see other girls done as figures as much as Kanu. Still, love how this figure looks, or will look for that matter.

Is this cold cast? Because $160 for a 1/6 PVC is awfully steep. While this is one of my favorite Kanu designs I’m not willing to pay that much for a 1/6..

Welcome back in action! Yes… this kanu is what I had pointed out in the last Wonder Fest Show that I like it… but the price is really too steep for a PVC figure… may I know is it really a PVC figure?

Resin figures comes FULLLY castoffable and unless her pantsu is removable, I dont see another reason to buy it at THAT price for a 1/6 size. Sure is tempting anyway…x_X
the thing that’s killing me about this one is, I’m looking at the pictures and looking at my high-line Daiki figures and… they can nail this. If they give it the 100% treatment the final PVC can turn out exactly like this proto. And if they do and I don’t get it, I will literally kick myself in the ass. This one is so hard to decide on. So awesome. So expensive.

Well I’m sticking with my order. I wish they had a pure white version. IMO the clothing should be completely removable, naked miko Kanu (YAY or NAY to that idea?)
I wonder if Chouun will have one too, she is featured in kimono clothing too on a Manga Cover. It would look nice with this Kanu one.
