I don’t want to sound to harsh, but the face completely kills this figure for me. It is too thin and triangular, gets overwhelmed by the huge bangs and hat.

I really like his artwork, but not this figure.

I’m agreeing with FS-fan opinions. And just in case it turns out to be bad Taki quality, I’m just getting 1 piece. I’ve no idea how good or bad is Exhaust as a figure maker. It’s a new brand to me.

p.s. I’ve good Taki quality items too: Their Dr Slump figures are good. So is the bikini version of Kanu (At least her face is better than the swimsuit version).

I was settled under that notion after initially seeing the above pictures a few days ago but, after some closer scrutiny, I don’t believe the sculpt is quite on par with what we’ve come to expect from Taki Corp. Certain aspects of Satoshi Urushihara’s designs may not translate well when a dimension is added (such as the disproportional volume of bangs or large foreheads) but I believe the reason why Comiket Girl doesn’t look “quite right” is because all Satoshi’s designs were successfully captured, not poorly improvised on.
