In our most recent Mainichi update we mentioned a new figure in the works from Chara-Ani and Alter of Ikkitousen‘s Ryuubi Gentoku, and Milestone updated last night with a product listing that provides pictures and further information. She’s scheduled for release in late September at 7,140 yen and 1/8 scale (8 cm high, 17 cm long), comes with a castoffable “Y-shirt”, and in a first in the PVC figure world her feet are made from the soft, pliant material that has graced the chests of other figures in the recent past. The sculpt is from RINRIN of Dragon Craft. The currently available images are reproduced below:

my question is, why the toes?

Japan is a country of foot fetishists, apparently. <_<;

Why not? :P
Cute figure, I like the socks. And the glasses. And the shirt. Get.
i’m an “eyes” man. :D

Whenever I hear someone use “eyes” as a euphemism for breasts I’m struck by the overwhelming memory of reading Robert Nye’s interpretation of the Beowulf legend in 7th grade English class, in which Grendel’s mother is described as having “eyes in her breasts”. A rather unpleasant image to associate with feminine beauty… ^^;;
As someone with a foot fetish- SCORE!!!
I like it! Cute face with round glasses, but she will be expensive for a figure so simple… is it the cast off feature price? And all white clothes are really boring… I think the “eyes” euphemism is disgusting too.
haha, excuse my choice of vocabulary… my apologies. i’ll refrain from using it next time around.

Not a problem at all, sorry if it came off that way. Far be it from me to legislate euphemism usage in comments, though that particular one does always make me think twice. ^^
That does seem interesting. So I am to understand her feet are the soft material and her breasts aren’t? You’d figure they’d make both, but seeing her pose I can see why not.
I wouldn’t be surprised eventually when they just made the entire body from a soft material similar to how some 1/6 scale figure makers like Hot Toys use rubber or vinyl bodies.

That’s correct, as far as I’m aware. I think you’re right about the pose being the rationale behind the choice, the breasts are rather inaccessible (though that hasn’t stopped such decisions before)…

Wave’s Xecty PVC (covered most recently here) is just such a full-body “soft part”, actually. Preorders for her are expected to begin tomorrow at 11:00 AM.
The whole “eyes” euphemism annoys the crap out of me for some reason. I even stopped visiting dannychoo.com because it’s used so often there. I mean, it’s not like boobs or breasts are dirty words to begin with so why refrain from using it?
Gah, now I’m ranting…
