Why is it that I find Majoudo’s “American” character rather unusual? I mean, “halfies” are more common in anime and manga as a way of explaining how we dense westerners speak perfect nihongo, but this one (from the samples at least) looks more subdued than the usual blonde bombshell cliche

I’m glad that she’s not a typical American “half”. Her design is my favorite of the four main characters; it’s not too flamboyant and doesn’t adhere to the ~bafun tawdry eroticism of most “American” female characters in anime and games. Maybe because she’s a returnee and doesn’t have non-Japanese lineage?

I think I’ll aim for her first unless the game railroads you into picking the main heroine.

Agreed, his stuff is really nice. I’m kind of sad that the number of artists choosing to go purely digital is growing; I too prefer a physical copy of a game or doujinshi when one is available. That said I’ve been taking advantage of DLsite a lot recently – it’s so damn convenient. ;_;
