Scans from Dengeki Hobby retrieved from 2chan’s mokeiura board yesterday evening report a few new interesting figure announcements: Goodsmile will be producing Unity Yuuno from Unisonshift Accent’s latest eroge project Unity Marriage. The sculpt is from Tokunaga Hironori, and she’s due out in “winter 2008” at 1/8 scale (20 cm tall), no price yet specified. The second item of note is a Diedrich Schultz (ディードリッヒ・シュルツ) figure from Eulenspiegel (オイレンシュピーゲル), a visual novel series illustrated by Hakua Ugetsu. Production is from Organic and the figure is due out in August at 1/8 scale; no further information is currently available. A Bulma (Dragonball) prize figure is also shown from Banpresto (out in June), along with a Nanoha Signum that can only be assumed to come from Atelier-Sai. The Bubba Yuki on the right is a mail-order kit promotion from Figure Maniax Otome-gumi, on sale June 10th. Images below:

Thanks to TrueDevil for the heads up on this!

Thanks for the translation, looks like the Unity Marriage might be a money drainer….. :(
Diedrich looks pretty cool, a possible purchase once I see the final product at least.
now why can’t the BUBBA Yuki be the PVC announcement, it is easily my favorite of these sculpts.

Japan hates us.
A slightly more grounded guess as to why we haven’t seen any BUBBA in PVC for awhile is that his Shipon/Arisa pair weren’t the success Max Factory had hoped back in ’05, and he may have become an industry pariah as a result (though that seems like an idiotic justification to me). Any PVC maker who opted to produce his Haruhi figures would have a license to print money.
Yeah, Bubba’s only real success in the PVC market was his Etna in early 2007. I’m glad I got that one when I could! ^^

That’s what I’m sayin’! I remember an auction for a professionally done GK of his Bunny Suit Haruhi that went for like $3000 on Yahoo Auctions JP. I love that kit. Unless Haruhi stuff is just not that hot in JP anymore, and I’m sure even if it’s down it will be back when Kyoto Animation gets that Season 2 we’ve been promised out there on the TV, I just can’t see why not. And to Deibi Manabu’s point, BUBBA’s Etna is fantastic and I’m glad to have it as well. I think the Stellvia 2-Pack was a miss because it’s Stellvia and is just plain and simple a less interesting look (than say his Haruhi sculpts). If that piece really is in some way responsible for the lack of recent BUBBA PVCs, Max Factory should blame themselves for picking that piece for PVC translation (or was it a PVC original sculpt?) , and not BUBBA for sculpting it. BUBBA is quite possibly the supreme ‘chibi/SD/semi-superdeformed/anime style’ sculptor in the game, and at least some of his work not making it to PVC is just wrong.
Agreed with everyone else, Max Factory’s Etna by BUBBA is fantastic. That and for the 1/7 scale and quality it only costed around $40 USD compared to the crap we see on the market today for $80+?
I miss the good old days…
