It takes some persistent tugging, but it’s definitely possible.

I’d recommend holding her by the upper torso (not too hard, as that will clamp down and make it harder to remove) and moving it from side to side as you pull upward. If you angle slightly away from the breasts you should be able to reassure yourself that it’s not going to break as you do it.

Figures on Amazon Marketplace are ridiculously overpriced. In any case, Amazon will probably get it back in stock soon, and sooner or later the option to buy from Amiami through Amazon will more likely than not appear again.

A shitload of Alter Kanu’s just appeared on Yahoo Auctions for roughly standard retail price, so those who really want it can get it there.

I think the difference is due in part to the black background the original photos were taken against.
I got mine today and took a little peek before packing it up and didnt find anything that disturbed me to any extent. For those who missed out, hobby search still has some in stock and there is a seller on amazon.jp who is selling a used copy for 9400 Y!

I’ve NEVER liked any of the Kanu figures, except for the really expensive ones (like Orchid Seed or the Kurushima one), so this doesn’t affect me in the slightest.

I just saw it in moeyo too, definitely looks much better, but still something’s weird, I think it’s the hair colour…. all the pictures taken seemed a bit too dark… I like the lighter purple colour in the prototype ones, but I hope it’s only a matter of lighting…

Ditto on the preorder. I’m a bit disappointed with what that review shows, but hopefully not all of the copies will be equally different from the prototype… My copy will be coming in tonight and I’ll try to get a few photos up, if not the full review.

hmm, so what does the review says about the Alter Kanu ? It seems to me that the base colour is pretty weird…., the Kanu figure itself doesn’t seem THAT special too… and I’ve already Preordered this too…… :(
