One of the most anticipated figures to be unveiled at Wonder Festival last February is finally here! Happinet’s online shop Moe Soul updated at midnight last night with a listing for their Happinet/Toy’sworks collaboration brand Sugar Mint Complex Kanu Unchou (armored version) PVC figure from Ikkitousen. She’s scheduled for release in August at 7,329 yen retail, scale unspecified (21 cm tall); castoff status and sculptor information have still not been officially revealed. With her up at Moe Soul preorders at other locations should follow shortly. Figure images below:
We’ll be eagerly watching for further news and will update this post should other listings bring anything further to light.

She looks fat…
Just kidding! Perhaps this will be my first Kanu.
I’m with Kamugin on this one, this could be my first Kanu figure. This one looks so cool!
They should something about her face. Looks a bit weird and her body frame is too muscular.
Yeee! I’m happy like a little kid (would be happier if all these figures were free, instead of draining all my money drop by drop…)
Oh well, the dinamic pose of the figure catched my atention since the begining so I’m sold on this one.

Don’t you wish someone from Happinet read HD, so they’d have announced if it is a Hiroman or not in the listing?
I assume since you didn’t note it in the article, that you’ve still not found any confirmation if it is in fact a Hiroman?
I doubt she will be castoff, at least not beyond the ‘skirt’, it looks too tightly fit up top. I suppose we can still hope but…

Amiami’s listing is now up, but it doesn’t contain any further significant information (though it does note that the 21-cm height includes the base, without which the figure is 20 cm tall). I don’t have any more conclusive proof regarding the Hiroman sculpt since we last talked; the listings may eventually be updated with that information, or perhaps if/when the official SMC site is updated we’ll get something. Here’s hoping.
Looks like China Dress DVD-box versions of Ryoumoh and Kanu are going to be delayed by another month.

Yeah, everything is great except the face. Not feminine enough.
Just preordered her, I’ve been waiting a long time to preorder a Kanu figure (already have 2 Ryomu Shimei). At last they made a figure with “armor”, that’s great!
Hi Shingo,
Yes, I had also just pre-order this Happinet/Toy’sworks collaboration brand Sugar Mint Complex Kanu Unchou (armored version) PVC figure.
Now, I really hope that the actual production figure will be as good as prototype, not to be the same failure as Sekirei Musubi (Race Queen Ver) from Movic & Miraroma – Erika Seihouin from Orchid Seed. At least score a 8.5/10 for the figure review by Shingo.
Shingo, do update us if there are any further news on this figure here. Thanks in advance!
It might be the angle of the photo but her face looks to be a little more round than other sculpts I’ve seen of her. And, to be honest, even a bit man-ish.
I particularly like the paint scheme of this one. It’s refreshing to see a character that’s brushed in every shade of cotton candy actually rendered in a way that is a little more unique.
Discounting the maker’s (probable?) intent to generate revenue with the gratuitous up skirt, is there any real reason for Karate Kid / Jackie Chan pose?

Makes you need to buy more than 1 piece – a few to keep in the box, 1 to display, which will lean over in due time (PVC), hence, requiring you to break out a spare piece. 8)
I find it sad that the face on Figma’s ¥2800 action figure is MUCH better than the one on this sculpt.
