Could i ask you what translator software do you use????

Normally it takes me about a day. I will normally watch a episode a couple of times and then go back to it a few hours later and do the translation. After typing a script, I go back to again later and look at it before I send it to the typesetter or QC.

But agreed, depending on the amount of slang or research that needs to be done it can take various amounts of time since Japanese is my second language . . . .

That depends on the amount and complexity of the dialog in the episode as well as the skill of the translator. “Speedsubbing” groups can flip a translation in as little as a few hours, though most groups take a day or two to get them out (or longer, if the show isn’t as high priority).

There are enough variables in the subbing equation that it’s hard to make accurate generalizations about speed.

According to the show’s official site episode 9 will air on AT-X in Japan on May 31st. Raws should appear shortly thereafter.

“Raw” is what filesharers usually label episodes that are in the original Japanese without foreign language subtitles.
