I had this on preorder through HLJ and only cancelled it the other day, only because I needed to pay for my Bridget figure instead, and Bridget comes before this any day.

Still, this makes me want the girl, even if for the headache-inducing smells! ^_^

>>PorcelainePriss

The scent is a bit hard to describe, other than "strawberry candy + fresh PVC". It also dissipates quickly; I went back to check this morning and it was all but gone.

The figure ships in a plastic bag inside the box; it may be that they simply spray some perfume into the bag before sealing the package, instead of attempting to adhere it to the PVC in a more permanent way.

>>Al

The slit is pretty rare, yeah. I was a bit surprised to see the level of anatomy present here.

Yamato hasn't announced Nasubi-sama as part of the "smell-o-rama" lineup, thankfully... maybe they'll provide a recipe in the box for a good eggplant dish instead. ^^;;

>>tj han

Yeah, I think the strawberry scent is probably harmless. PVC fumes on the other hand, probably not so good (thanks for pointing that out, Pure Trance).

Why are artificial scents cancerous? It's probably a similar flavouring to those used in strawberry candy right?

Anyhow, that's pretty ugly a figure, particularly the seams.

They actually put a slit between her legs. That's rare for commercial castoff figures isn't it?

The next figure in the line is Eggplant-sama so I'd like to hear what that one actually smells like.

Uh-oh! Looks like someone used too much vegetable oil in this dish! Oh, wait... that's just very shiny skin. My mistake. ¬_¬;

I do like the sculpt of this figure, but whoever decided to allow the cheap looking shiny skin on the final product needs to be brutalized with a baseball bat.

(I think that's the lack of sleep and Grand Theft Auto talking, but I still don't approve of the gloss.)

... the prospect of the strawberry scent conflicting with the figure fetishist's sensous experience of the plasticy perfume of the freshly cracked open box had not occured to me... I take it she doesn't even smell like strawberry candy? Not even something chewy and toxic? I'm rather partial to toxic candies so perhaps I will invest... so intrigued.
