Hot on the heels of their nekomimi Kanu Griffon has announced the second PVC conversion of a resin kit they had for sale at the recent WHF Ariake 18, the Morikawa Hiroaki-sculpted Kusugawa Sasara (school swimsuit maid ver.) from To Heart 2. This PVC incarnation is scheduled for release in September at 6,720 yen retail and 1/7 scale (precise size undisclosed); this kit follows Griffon’s Maaryan-senpai as the second in their “To Heart 2 swimsuit series”. …shit, now I don’t know if I should get Koto’s version, or this.
I’m definitely getting this. I prefer this to Koto’s version. I like the pose and I find this one to be cuter and with more personality. She also doesn’t have Koto’s ‘O’ face. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.:p
Absolutely tempting…But with pre-orders of Griffon Kanu/Ryomou in chinese dress, GSC Vocaloid Miku, GSC Mitsuki Hatsune, H-Kamen Ringo and a bunch of MaxFac Figma figures, the budget meter is already on the red section… XD
This one is much better than the Koto one. For one thing it doesn’t have the hanging melon effect and the hair looks more natural and not like a helmet.
Hi Shingo,
Is this figure a castoffable one?
Thanks.

To my knowledge the figure is not castoffable. It seems possible that the apron could be removed, but from examining the seams around her rear end my guess is that the swimsuit is painted on (as it were).
As a general policy I try to mention a figure’s castoffability whenever it is confirmed or seems highly likely… It seems for further clarity I should mention when a figure doesn’t seem castoffable as well. Thanks for the question, it will help improve further coverage!
Wow…this figure looks cute and playful….definetly looking at this when more money gets freed up.
Already have too much Griffon stuff on pre-orders. So no go for me…but it’s the BEST Sasara yet. Definitely has personality.
