I liked it a lot at first, but after much scrutiny, I’m finding her face to be rather…inconsistent in likability (Some pictures are really nice to look at, while some are really odd looking; it all depends on the angle and distance).

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. That’s a unique take on Saber’s design, and seems a bit different from his previous work as well. I think it’ll take me a little while to get used to.

As for the face, from the angled picture, it looks alright. I even bought the Ebcraft’s ‘real’ saber version. So anything better than that, it’s fine with me. 8)

I totally misinterpreted the passage before. I thought that the sculpt was only going to be PVC, save a few resin kits that are going out as gifts (To somebody).

P.S. Totally missed your post on it a month ago, which could’ve cleared up this huge misunderstanding much earlier. :)

The original model for new maker Gift’s first project “Fate/stay night Saber” was produced by Toda-san.

Prior to the release of the PVC version, a resin kit version of this original model is planned for sale at our dealer’s booth via consignment from Gift at the event [Hobby Complex Osaka].

Detailed information will be updated here when it’s been settled.

Pictures of the work in progress have been published, so we’ll be happy if you look at them here.

It doesn’t seem that passage contains any new information, but seems like a good place to look for updates as the event approaches.

I have a great feeling about this one (From the looks of the face of the unpainted version).

I do worry that the resin kit version will be very limited in quantity though, causing inane prices on YJA.
