We speculated on the fate of Griffon’s catgirl Kanu Unchou (nominally from Ikkitousen) back when she was announced in resin just prior to WHF Ariake 18, but I didn’t expect a PVC incarnation to be announced nearly so fast. Griffon updated their official site today with precisely that: a listing complete with preorder for their Kanu Unchou (nekomimi ver.) PVC. She’s due out in August at 1/7 scale (11.5 cm tall), with a sculpt from Akiyama Akio and an 8,925 yen price tag. She’s accompanied by chibi Chouhi and Ryuubi mascots, and her skirt is almost definitely castoffable. Figure images below:

With preorders open at Griffon we can expect to see her at other online retailers soon.

Does she have her shirt pulled up and her boobs hanging out or what? I can’t quite tell for sure from the photos.
NegativeZero: I would say the 6th photo pretty much confirms this

I see some side boobage there.
very cool, but pretty pricey.
Another week, another Kanu figure.
I love her design, but I haven’t watched more than 2 or 3 episodes of Ikki Tousen.
I wonder if Kanu is heading towards the “most sculpted anime character” record?
I like the figure, but pricey. I’ll stick to the ones I already have on order unless the price would happen to come down.
once Isaid that for everytime a good Kanu figure comes out a great one follow. Not this time.
