Agree with you on some points. e.g. Only in Japan can 1 draw and sell comics about pre-teens having sex, getting rape, getting mutilated, etc without getting “hang, drawn and quartered”, if you understand what I mean.

I guess it’s a compromise of sorts. And over the years (compare 80s, 90s and now), mosaics have replaced black ink blobs, and the mosaics themselves have gotten smaller and less obstructive; you can see more details now.

Still, hopefully, 1 day, we can release art without any censorship at all.

I intend to play the devil’s advocate in a future column and defend the Japanese practice of censorship of prurient material. While I agree with you that censorship is an evil, I see it as an acceptable compromise in many cases when it comes to pornography – Japan’s freedom of erotic expression really is unparalleled in many respects, and I personally don’t mind some mosaic here and there if it means that freedom is preserved.

More MILFY is good, imo. (LOLs. Only with in this age of internet that we have new terms like MILFs, LOLs, WOOT, etc)

Anyway, I do hope some other company will re-release this (and Cleavage) with English text and uncensored. Sadly, as it stands with the Japanese version, the beautiful artwork is spoilt by the censorship.

(Think about it: Should we sand-blast off David’s penis and Venus De Milo’s bare breasts from their respective statues because it offends some members of our ‘modern’ society?

For 8800yen (standard Japan PC s/w price), I expect an uncensored version. Guess I have to play the long patient waiting game. 8)

I’m not sure how l feel about his evolved style.The girls look more milfy the lines rounder but they have lost some of his unique flair and in the first three cgs the faces the sharp look of his past designs.The other scenes in the scans do look better so maybe l’m just nitpicking.
