We brought you a first look at this PVC figure back in March, and yesterday evening Kotobukiya updated once again with pictures of their cat-eared, school-swimsuited Nekomiya Nono prototype, now in color. Nono is the heroine of Hi-Quo Soft’s eroge Yotsunoha as well as the recently released all-ages OVA by the same name (Japanese Wikipedia). As reported earlier, the kit is scheduled to retail in August at 1/6 scale (just over 20 cm tall); sculptor and price information are currently unknown. This is one of the cutest kits I’ve seen in awhile, and I’m guessing Kotobukiya will have a real winner on their hands here… We’ll be keeping an eye out for preorder information. Image below:

I watched the OVA just out of pure curiosity and Nono slayed me right away; this Neko Musume impersonation having a great deal to do with it. The Loli + School Swimsuit + Thigh Highs + Nekomimi + Kansai-ben combination was too much for me too resist.
Too bad Yotsunoha is such a bore. This is an extremely cute figure.

I don’t know yet – I’d need to see the price. Lately the astronomical prices for figures is turning me off them – I never thought a figure nut like me would say that! ^^;

Gotta conserve my cash, though as Nemo_M said, those Loli + School Swimsuit + Thigh Highs + Nekomimi + Kansai-ben factors make it such a must buy. (But I want to add the Red Riding Hood from Pop to my Alice and her pet catepillar, and that’s 8000+ yen a pop…)
