Online hobby shop Digitamin put up preorder listings today for three new PVC offerings from figure maker Taki Corporation, all from Ikkitousen and all scheduled for release in late May at 5,040 yen. First is a Kanu Unchou (nurse ver.), who clocks in at 1/9 scale and comes with a set of extra dark-stockinged legs. Second is a Sonsaku Hakufu (nurse ver.), at 1/8 scale and also with an extra set of leg parts (with different color underwear); finally there’s a Ryomou Shimei (nurse ver.), who is 1/8 scale and the front of her blouse is apparently castoffable. Sculptor information for all three figures is currently unavailable. With preorders up at Digitamin they should appear elsewhere shortly; currently available images can be found below: Update: image gallery updated:

I like nurses and I like all three characters, but something just doesn’t seem right with these. Damn Taki Corporation.
What doesn’t seem right about these is the fact Taki is behind their production! @_@
With one look you can tell that they are Taki creations, but I think they are getting (slightly) better lol

there are pics of the cast off there.
if you go back to the home page there are additional shots of all of the figures.
I find it funny that Ryomou is the one with the castoffable top, and not Kanu. I’ll probably pickup these two and skip Hakufu.
5040Y for a 1/9 scale fugly?
I don’t think so Tacky.

Agreed. I think these are a cautious step forward for Taki in terms of the sculpts (Ryomou’s face is the most accurate I’ve seen from them yet) but I’m still on the fence.

When they’re finally produced they’ll probably end up as hideous hellbeasts like most of the other things Taki has put out thus far, alas.
>>suneo
I’m with you there. Despite the high probability of failure I’m still tempted. :/

Thanks, I spotted those at Amiami last night as well but in the heat of other updates didn’t have time to add them here before I went to bed. The post is now updated with the newly available images.

That’s my current assessment as well… if I do go for these Kanu and Ryomou seem like the two with potentially redeeming qualities, the Hakufu I can definitely skip.

She might not end up that bad… really. Maybe. Or maybe not. :(
Heh, I think they just stick to producing these wonderful little figures:

Seems like some of that one ended up in our beloved Ikki vixens :(
Damm- Nurses and sexy poses along with Ikkitousen characters are win win win….
How could they screw it up that badly….
=(
Ryomou is really the only pose that’s not…. awkward-ish. The others don’t look ‘natural’.
God, did any of that make sense? =p
I’ll give credit where credit’s due. These 3 prototypes do look good. However, since it’s by Taki, I think I have to wait until the actual pvc figures are out. Also, I dislike the fact that Taki don’t credit the sculptor.
Wow, Kanu has cock-eyed nipples.

I agree wholeheartedly about being irritated when the sculptor is not credited. It is an insult to the sculptor of a solid piece, and an insult to the collectors when it’s a crappy piece (if you know who sculpted weak ones, it’s easier to avoid making the wrong choice on iffy figures in the future). I am honestly less likely to buy a figure if the sculptor isn’t credited. That’s not to say it’s a deal-breaker, but it forever annoys me not to know who sculpted a piece. The Mega House Koyori from Sengoku Ace is a perfect example.
I’ll be going for the Kanu one. Looks good.
