Movic announces Asu no Yoichi figure project

Movic posted an official page on their site yesterday evening for an Asu no Yoichi figure project. It features characters from the Asu no Yoichi romantic comedy manga by Minamoto Yuu that is currently serialized in Monthly Shounen Champion. Clicking through the splash page to the details provides information on the first two figures in the lineup, Ikaruga Ibuki and Ikaruga Ayame. Ibuki’s sculpt is from Saitou Heel (Love Love Garden), and she’s scheduled for release in August at 5,880 yen and 1/8 scale (19 cm tall). Ayame is sculpted by Tanaka Masanori (Jet Stream) and is scheduled for release in September, also at 5,880 yen and 1/8 scale (19 cm tall). Uncolored prototype images below:

Alter’s Tsukishiro Miina, Beat Blades Haruka preorders open

Alter updated their official site over the noon hour today with new product listings for two figures we initially reported on at Wonder Festival: their upcoming Tsukishiro Miina and Takamori Haruka PVCs (from Getsumen Toheiki Miina and Choukou Sennin Haruka – Beat Blades Haruka respectively). Miina is due out in August at 6,615 yen retail and 1/8 scale (22 cm tall), with a sculpt from Nishimura Naoki (Pilot). Haruka will be coming in September, at 7,140 yen retail and 1/8 scale (20 cm tall) and with a sculpt from Akitagawa Noboru. Immediately following Alter’s listing the kits went up for preorder at Happinet’s online shop (Miina, Haruka) and should be available elsewhere soon as well. Images below:

Yamato’s Noyamano Ringo preorder open

Amiami’s noon update today brought the news that one of the most anticipated figures of the past several months (by me, at least), is now available for preorder: Yamato’s Noyamano Ringo (hentai kamen ver.) from Air Gear. I’ve had my eye on her since we first broke the news of her prototype back at WHF Ariake 17, so it’s great to see her finally available in PVC form, with stats as follows: she’s set for release in July at 7,140 yen retail, 23 cm tall (scale unspecified) with a sculpt from Uchijima Yasuhiro (essence.). She comes with an optional handbag used to cover her face (though I’m not sure why you’d want to, given the quality of the sculpt); image gallery below:

SMC Belldandy preorder open

Happinet’s Sugar Mint Complex brand first gave us a glimpse of this figure back at Wonder Festival, and now it’s official: the Hiroman-sculpted Belldandy PVC from Ah! My Goddess is now available for preorder (currently only via Happinet’s official online shop, but preorders should appear elsewhere soon). She’s set for release in September at 7,770 yen retail and 1/7 scale (18.5 cm tall); we’ll bring further images when they become available, but for now here’s what’s online:

Today’s Updates

Other updates tonight pushed today’s Mainichi post back, so consider this space held until I can fill it with something a bit more substantial tomorrow morning in tomorrow’s update.

Koharu Biyori symmetrical docking Yui and Minori

First scooped back at Wonder Festival, a GA Graphic update tonight brings the latest word on Toy’sworks‘ Yui and Minori PVCs from Dengeki Moeoh serialized manga and ecchi OVA Koharu Biyori. We initially reported that they’d be selling for 6,800 yen each, but it seems that price has been revised upward to 7,800 yen; both are 1/8 scale and approximately 15 cm tall, with Yui scheduled to retail in July and Minori in August. Purchasing both enables the use of a special “poyoyon gattai” part for display in optimum symmetrical docking configuration. Apparently limited color versions of both figures are in the works as well. At this point we don’t have sculptor information, but we’ll be on the lookout both for that and preorder announcements that are likely to appear in the coming days. Edit: I forgot to mention that both figures are castoffable, as shown in our original Wonder Festival coverage. Visual evidence reproduced below:
