I doubt other companies will climb on the “best price” bandwagon, and I’m a bit surprised by the move from Toy’s Planning. I think future reissues from other brands will be at the same price as the original release for the most part (if not more expensive), as my understanding is that figure makers’ profit structure is based around selling figures at a fixed price, and production costs aren’t getting any cheaper such that they would allow downward flexibility on the retail end.

We all hope so, but generally, I’m be glad if companies like Megahouse will re-issue their old stuff at the old price. (Hear that Megahouse, I need re-issues of your Kiyori. 8))

As for the Toranoana stuff, I will put them in the same category as Volks – on my BANNED LIST. I will buy stuff from other gaijin friendly companies but not from you folks.

Only problem is, I’ve really not been too happy with Toy’splanning’s stuff. Do you think this might be something other companies would do, too?
