I speculated yesterday about the nature of the curvaceous posterior in Moeyo’s teaser coverage of the recently held Miyazawa Mokei dealer’s exhibition, and according to a new Moeyo update today it turns out my suspicion was correct – it does in fact belong to the kit we saw on display at Wonder Festival. Further details from Moeyo’s post reveal that the kit is (very loosely) based on this Mogudan illustration of Kanu Unchou from Toranoana’s official Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny fanbook, and that she’ll be coming as a pre-painted PVC from Beagle in July at 1/8 scale. Sculptor info is not immediately at hand, but we’ll bring it when we get it; I’m a bit nonplussed by the execution here of what could’ve been a truly epic sculpt, but I’m hoping the final product will more closely resemble what we saw at WF than what’s on display in Moeyo’s pictures. Our WF photos reproduced below:

The PVC does not look bad but … what about the bumping nips? O_oU. The face also looks rather boring.
A truly based Mogudan illust Kanu sculpture would be incredible :D (or based in any other Ikkitousen fanbook illustrations, that are awesome)
Leaning problems seem likely. I think she’ll have to see a chiropractor about her back too :)
So many great Kanu coming out this year. This one looks great too. ^^
Mamamia… face, hair… and breast… Argh ! It’s really… awful.>_<
I forgot to see this figurine, I forgot, I forgot, I forgot…
Hmm, I’m quite skeptical on this “loose” translation of Mogudan’s artwork…The Kanu figure does not resemble Mogudan’s work at all, unlike the bodacious Fencer Feanne figure…Then the pose is also bad for a PVC figure, very prone to leaning over time…
I’m usually a fan of enormous assets and fanservice, but this one looks bleh. Facial expression is lacking, body language is banal. Strangely enough though, the thing that irks me the most is that the shoes/feet seem out of proportion to the figure itself. Overall, seems like an old hentai figure superficially modified to look like Kanu.
