An event was held today called the “Figure Maker’s Union Exhibition”, similar to last summer’s WONDERFUL HOBBY LIFE FOR Wholesaler & Retailers (an industry-exclusive trade show where makers and members of the press were allowed to view the offerings on display at Wonder Festival minus all of the jostling crowds). There wasn’t much new to see that wasn’t at Wanfesu 10 days ago as well, but Goodsmile and Dengeki Hobby have both blogged early reports hinting at the possible availability of further details on a few of the figures that made an impression at the earlier event (as well as some new stuff from Taki Corporation, who wasn’t there – bustier Louise, Tama-nee kimono and Pretty Menma?!). We’ll be on the lookout for anything else new should it come to light. (no more)

Taki’s Tamaki (Kimono ver.) actually looks like a figure in the Dengeki picture… maybe I need my eyes checked… most of their other stuff looks like… something I wouldn’t use the term ‘figure’ to describe.
I really like Jun Planning’s 1/8 Louise – and she’s like 4515yen or something… which is really cheap these days.
Well, I might finally get my first Nendoroid in the form of that QG Ink if she ever makes it to mass release globally. She looks really kawaii.

All the Companies should produce more male characters in PVC, I am just sick that PVC lines of a lot of Animes have just the Female Characters.
No one wants to buy the male characters in the fashion that they want to buy the female characters. The companies are just answering the demand of the masses. . . .

But I still beleive that is a Huge mistake leave a collection just with the girls, for example AlphaxOmega made Kallen and C.C. but what about Lelouch and Suzaku?? So sad!!
MegaHouse also made Excellent Models of male Characters for Gundam Seed and also made Figures about my favourite Anime with incredible details I Just Love It!

I personally would only be interested in a very, very limited number of male figures, even if there were more. The girls are always more intricately /uniquely designed, more interesting and endearing in manga and anime, and on top of that… I’m a straight guy, I would always rather look at chicks than at guys. I’d be happy with more properties like Arcana Heart, which is all chicks all the time. It’s entertainment/fiction/fantasy, why not have gorgeous women, and happy endings… beats the hell out of Copland.

What I say is that is just Unfair when someone wants to have a nice PVC Figures collection of the favourite Anime, Companes just stopped because of the huge demand of Sexy Chicks for Perverts collectors.. sorry but It´s the Truth I thought it was going to be different cause I recently enter into this world of hobby (2007) and I am dissapointted. MegaHouse is good with CORE and I hope all characters will be produced but the great Qualty will be good also in a complete Excellent Model Anime line (like One Piece)

Good God, now there are two sculptors who if they did sculpt a male Capcom character I might be interested (Demitri is a cool male character that Melting Neuron would be a perfect sculptor for), but you’re automatically NOT, because they are chicks.
