Our look at the garage kits on display at Wonder Festival 2008 Winter concludes in earnest with a look at many of the adult-themed kits that were on display, from an amnesiac Viletta from Code Geass to a sculptural depiction of The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife, to several very attractive Kanu Unchous, an irresponsibly proportioned Uesugi Kenshin and Yamamoto Isoroku, and things far more outlandish – not a post for those at work, under legal age, or not wanting to see some pretty bizarre (and yet strangely hypnotic) pieces of sculpted plastic.

Wow…they even have the girl from Mu soft’s game in there. @_@ Too bad for Feena in picture 73, the view is obstructed. ;__;
The huge and irresponsibly proportioned Uesugi Kenshin did make me laugh though. Also some of the Makai Tenshi Jibril ones!
Wow. Those Kanu statues are AMAZING~
Everything that looks good I noticed is always accompanied by a “sold out” sign. :P
Those two images of “Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife” may actually be the origins of tentacle rape in Japan (though the original painting by Hokusai conveyed a consensual coupling between the octopus and the woman). The only thing different here with the statue is the cloth across her crotch, which was not present in the original painting.
If you doubt me, look up “cecaelia” in Wikipedia!
Wow, the figurines on sale there is definitely overwhelming. The Ryomou figure is nice tho.
I want more on 66,67 & 68 0_0,

Ahh, the perennial display of kits from Okayama Figure Engineering. I usually just take crowd shots there because it’s a pain to wait in line or shove your way through the crowd for close-ups. ^^;;
I’m pretty sure all of the kits on display there are available via mail order from Voltage, if you feel like contacting a proxy about them.
Regarding 51-58 (Kanu by Kurushima):
Does anyone know how many kits were made available?
>> Shingo
ooh nice :D
thx for the link :P
Nice pictures. Love the Kanu kits. The breasts on that Kenshin are kind of scary. o_O
Any idea who is the sculptor for the huge and irresponsibly proportioned Uesugi Kenshin? I believe the same person did huge and irresponsibly proportioned Mai and Chunli in the past as well, and also the huge and irresponsibly proportioned Dragonar females too. I always wonder who the sculptor is since all I ever saw was pictures of his works posted in bootleg kit shops in Singapore.
Thank you for any info. 8)

I’m not sure, that’s a good question. I’ll try to find out.

Uesugi Kenshin and Yamamoto Isoroku are the work of Mizugi Tengoku, which has four members according to WFS. They all seem to have similar sculpting styles (though that may just be the coloring); I’m guessing Kenshin and Isoroku are the work of Tengoku Ichibanchou, but I can’t be sure.
Again, much appreciated for the valuable info provided by you, Shingo. 8)
And thanks again for letting me know about a database such as WFS. I’m gonna be using it very frequently now. 8)
Any info on that Animal Office kit? I’m morbidly intrigued as apparently I’m enough of a perv to be interested in something like that :P
gee, I.. I want to be a figure moddler, too …! XD
