I made it back safely from Wonder Festival this evening loaded with well over 1,000 pictures and a whole bunch of delicious, nutritious figure scoopage information (it’s like roughage for the figure colon, or something). First up is a preview look at the garage kit side of things, where I spent most of my shooting this afternoon – lots of lovely kits on offer, as you’ll see. More WF news coming very soon, so stay tuned!

More from Wonder Festival 2008 winter, coming soon!
Augh, they all look so good! I can’t stand it, I wish I was there! But I’ll be there summer for sure!

oh my god these are absolutely awesome!
I hope I’m not being rude but can you tell me more about the sculptor/designer?
Thanks for the preview photos, Shingo. Salivating now for for the rest of the photos you took.
1000+ photos huh? Wow! That’s like 40 rolls of film back in the ‘ancient’ days. Good thing we have affordable GByte memory cards now for just such occasions. 8)
hawt damm, kanu is just <3!!
breathless~ :D
I want that LUCKY STAR hahahhaha
ooh, a seto san figure. Interesting, otherwise, nothing has really grabbed me so far. Looking forward to the rest of the coverage
holy cow everything looks fantastic. Especially that Kanu! Asuka R2 looks great and that girl in the bird cage looks crazy too. That girl jumping over the railing in the last pic is really cool too.
great pics! lots of awesome figures.

I thought 09.jpg was the work of Shokubutsu Shoujoen, but it seems I may be wrong… I’ll see what I can dig up on both. I was trying to keep better records this time around but they turned out rather haphazard. :/

Yep, though the down side is only a few hundred are really fit to look at, and wading through them is a pain in the ass. Still, beats learning how to actually use a camera, right? orz

There was a surprising amount of really awesome Kanu at this event, I tried to shoot every one I came across, along with most of the Yokos (who were also very plentiful). A nice event for fans of the generously-figured… figure. ^^
I hope that the Genmukan maid figure is going to be available for sale that I saw when I was on Akibablog. nice stuff all around as usual . . .

I’m never much of a fan of any Kanu figure, but that Kanu is possibly the best I’ve ever laid eyes on. Of course we won’t see it in PVC form, but it’d be nice! ^^
Excellent preview, mate! ^_~
Ok We will wait for all those Pics and the Specal section as happened with WF Summer 2007
Thanks Shingo
That Kanu takes my breath away. Oh, how I wish I could build kits. It’s too pretty and I would love to have one.
no pic of the huge Toushirou Saber in the preview?

She’s in the main gallery (here), sorry for the delay.

As confirmed in the industry post, that figure is in fact the work of Shokubutsu Shoujoen and has been a running figure project of Toranoana for some time. It’s scheduled for PVC release from them at some point in the future.
Thank you Shingo! ^__^
