As I was taking that picture the Rei cosplayer was telling the Asuka cosplayer to get the comparison image out of the frame of the camera, but I kind of cheated… it looks funnier when the point of reference is there, I think.

I was at Momoi’s concert at AX this summer, and it was probably one of the top five concert experiences of my life. Absolutely amazing, taken in the context of the entire event. Despite being shafted by the event committee and given a terrible time slot she sang her heart out to the small audience that was there, and it felt like something was finally going right after a weekend of pretty atrocious event handling (the Haruhi concert… ugh).

Anyway, I picked up the DVD to relive the concert experience, and thus far it has not disappointed. There’s a lot of extra footage of Momoi wandering around LA and Hollywood too, which is quite fun.

I was just looking at the stuff you got, and became very amused at the “Momoi Haruko AX 2007 Live Concert” DVD. Mostly because I read somewhere that if it was not for the fans, it would have been one of her worst concert experiences ever.

Then again, I was there on a weekend and was told she played early on monday. And what I experienced there, from time to time, I can understand that as I would rather be waiting in line with rain… than to walk around in the heat (as I did) looking for either the ticket line, one of the events I wanted to attend, or even remember where I parked. -_-;;

But despite that… Nice swag. :P

Nice write-up Shingo. Glad to hear the meet-up was a success too.

As usual, you have great taste in picking up loot. The Lilith set looks delish, and I see the Nitro+ set has a camouflage thing going on in tandem with your tatami mats.
