Well. This classic 80s anime is the first Gainax anime I watch, and the one that introduces me to the term “Gainax Bounce”. Great mammaries…oops…I mean memories. 8)

I actually haven’t seen Gunbuster before (started 1 ep but haven’t continued since), so i don’t know the character well, but I have to agree that the hiney is nicely done lol

I have to say this, even though I am more of a Diebuster fan that that of Gunbuster (I assume it is due to who did Diebuster).

The figure itself is cute, and I do feel that this is how she would have looked if the anime was produced today. But based on the size of it, I do not feel that it is worth the money.

Because much like shrinking down or enhancing the size of a pic (from its set size), issues on the details pop up. In this case, they shrunk what would best be a 1/4 or 1/5 scale model to 1/10. And that is the #1 issue with this figure.

So is it worth it? Based on what you said, it is if you are either a diehard Noriko fan. Maybe if you are even a diehard Gunbuster fan or even a fan of anything Gainax puts out. If not, then I do recommend getting something that is worth that amount… or just hope you can get the figure on sale.

Great review. I remeber watching GunBuster a long time ago and it is indeed a classic!! The figure looks nice and simple- much like the character herself in the show.

Gonna give this figure a seriousl look if I get some funds available!
