I’m not sure whether your statement is an optimistic one (affordable Mars tourism in our lifetime!) or a pessimistic one… if it’s a goal you have I certainly wouldn’t cast it away out of hand, I’ve found these things are surprisingly possible (with some pretty major priority adjustments along the way…).
