Comments on: Figure Review: Alter’s Donne Anonime (Namae no Nai Onna) from Zoku: Satsuriku no Jango

I just picked this figure up because it was gorgeous. Has anybody thought about ways to de-emphasize the weird head-thing she’s standing on?

Some ideas I had were to get a piece of dark brown cloth or something with a rock pattern, and wrap it around that head. Another idea I had, which sounds kinda drastic, would be to mask Donne with tape, then carefully spray-paint the weird thing with something to match the ABS plastic base.

What do people think of the spray-paint idea? A big no-no, or something worth trying?

hmm after seeing the CG set for this game, I have to say I like Donne Anonime and Franco’s white outfits better than these regular (?) outfits! Too bad the statues didn’t use these as design influences, though they still look great hehe.

Can’t wait to see how Lily will look! Cmon where is that announcement?! lol

Yep, that’s the same version savage mentioned earlier in comments. That alternate color version was available exclusively from the Nitro+ online shop (no international purchase available).

I wonder what the hold up is on Lily, it seems like the proto of Franco was floating around at a show not long after Donne was first up for preorder, but we’ve seen no signs of a Lily figure in any form yet and Franco’s been up for preorder for awhile. Maybe it’s just me, and I’m in too much of a rush… well hopefully she’s in production and they just haven’t let her see the light of day yet.

Oh yes, I’m definitely keeping my pre-order of Franco. Too bad, I can only get the regular edition, and not the limited edition. (I know, proxy, but I’m thinking it’s such a hassle, and I can use that excuse to save some money as well… 8) )

And yes, I’m want Lily too. Though from the pics, she looks to be wearing a see-thru white top. So I’m wondering if Alter will actually make it…

Guess I will still enjoy having her in my collection, even though it ain’t castoffable. Then again, since it’s from Alter, I should have expected it.

I had a thing for sexy ladies in a hat and boots, especially since I saw ‘Even Cowgirls Get the Blues’ and of course, ‘Bad Girls’ starring Drew Barrymore which seemed like the inspiration for this eroge.

p.s. This probably means Ikkitosen Kanu from Alter is also non-castoffable. Guess I can free up some cash for other figures now.

Soft chest does not equal castoff, alas. Their Masane was similar, and I’d say at this point there are more noncastoffable soft-chested figures than castoffable ones overall.

Figures are often produced in a single batch, unless they become tremendously popular (enough so to justify subsequent reissues). It’s always a risk to put off a figure purchase; if you wait long enough (anywhere from a day to a week to a few months) most of them eventually disappear. :(

It’s a great figure, don’t get me wrong – any deficiencies (other than the slight errors in trim work) are purely my subjective opinion and should be ignored. I’m sure it won’t disappoint when it finally arrives.
