With color preproduction images appearing in last month’s Hobby Japan it was only a matter of time before she appeared online in an official capacity, and today is the day: Megahouse x Alter collaboration brand Alpha Omega presents official pages for both the regular edition Excellent Model Core Queen’s Blade EX Koumanin Guntouryou Shizuka and her Hobby Japan limited alternate color counterpart Nukenin version. Designed by artist Eiwa and first appearing in the illustrated sound novel Queen’s Blade Bitoshi Gaiden, this 3D rendition of Shizuka will go on sale in April of next year at 5,775 yen retail and 1/8 scale (22 cm tall). With her up at Alpha Omega’s official site preorders should begin online shortly; a listing for the limited version is already up at Play Asia (though still display only) so it looks like they will be offering it as they have with past HJ-only figures. For a full preview of Shizuka including [ERO] shots check out Hobby Channel‘s coverage. Update: as of this evening she is now available for preorder at Amiami. (no more)
Been waiting for this pre-order to come up. Please keep us informed Shingo! :D
which to buy, which to buy…. honestly, I think the limited edition color scheme looks better, to my untrained eye at least. Can’t wait for preorders to open!
You’re the best Shingo. You keep informed and up-to-date.
I’ll pass on the limited edition and go for the regular scheme.
Hmm…no difference on the main character colour. Only the colour of the clothes, base and horns are different. Guess I can save some cash this time around and just get the regular version. 8)
Besides, I always have a preference for the colour purple.
Thanks for the heads up Shingo. How come they only have the limited colour version on Play-Asia though?
I Hope they list both eventually, or someone else does. Haven’t really decided which colour scheme I like best.

Play Asia only has the limited version listed right now because it’s a special case scenario that has nothing to do with the kit’s regular availability; they’ll be taking orders, buying copies of Hobby Japan, cutting out the coupons and sending them in independently of the regular item’s preorder status.
Other online vendors should be listing the regular version shortly.
Argh! I love both color schemes, but never bought two versions of the same figure before.
Should I purchase the two of them or save the money and wait to the next Wonder Festival figures? The doubt is killing me.
Just saw Play-Asia limited edition pre-order is on. However, the price doesn’t please me as after conversion, its like 7000ish yen, where as the original price is like 5775yen. Looks like regular version for me to go.

As Shingo has explained, PA has to buy copies of Hobby Japan magazines, cut out the coupons and mail in to get the limited edition items. In other words, PA is doing a ‘proxy’ service in advance. End users like us have to decide whether it’s worth it or to get someone else to do the proxy for us.
Any way, my stand nowadays is that I no longer collect ‘limited’ edition items unless it’s easily available. I’m glad I’m pass my ‘limited covers’ comics collection phase. 8)
Oh man, I’m gonna be in Japan when she comes out. What to do, what to do…
Sort of agree with Cloudkun, looks like it’s regular for me as well.
Jumping on the original purple uniform bandwagon here. This line just keeps getting better and better.
Yeah, the whole limited edition thing for me was killed off by all the comic covers, spec editions and crap that they put out to milk money outta you.
This is one sweet looking figure. Thanx for the heads up Shingo.
I have a few of the Queens Blade figures and I have not been disappointed by them at all. Well, the newer ones are decidely easier to castoff- LOL.
Still no sign of her on any online retailers other than Amiami and P-A, sigh..
Why1 Why1 God explain why people are so mean, especially the Toys Producers!
The limited edition looks Sexier! The only Difference is the Cloth but the Limted is better! and Of Course the people like me that Buy by Internet can catch just the normal :(
It´s not Fair!
Thanks for the Info
Bye!
Pre-order up at Hobby Search! Grabbed while you can!!
i just gotta have her when i saw the pictures, thanks for the review shingo! shes a must get for me.Personally i will prefer the limited version as the colours are richer and more anime like.

considering that 1000yen is needed for dosmestic shipping within Japan, the actual pricing is 6775YEn already,Play-asia is offering a slightly higher price which i think its quite worth.
>>taesake
No worries taesake, I understand that but for the coming month and heaps of other wanted figurines, I really had to save extra bucks on it. Called me nuts for not getting limited but hey, at least normal edition would sufficed me. Thanks again for the clarification though.
Regular Version now up for pre-order on Play-Asia.

hobbyfan.com has the ex-version up for grabs.
I’m passing on this one but i think some of you may feel diffrently.

Play Asia has the Hobby Japan limited version available for preorder as well, and it’s cheaper there.
I’d prefer people avoid linking to Hobbyfan and similar sites here as such shops actively poke daggers into the eyes of Japanese sculptors, pour hot coals down their underpants and dump razors into the bowls of ramen they can no longer afford because the Triad is stealing their livelihoods. ^^
I’m half kidding – as I’ve said before I understand why people buy from such sites and I agree that they are a necessary evil, but I’d rather not encourage them here (even when they’re selling legitimate PVCs).
Is it still possible to buy both editions of the figure? I really want to.. somoene please help?
