Hot on the heels of this morning’s Hatsune Miku Nendoroid leak comes further scoopage from the as-yet unpublished pages of the January ‘08 issue of Hobby Japan magazine! On the Queen’s Blade front we get our first look at Megahouse’s Shizuka in color (scooped back at Wanfesu), along with the news that she’s due out next spring at 5,775 yen and is castoffable. We get looks beneath the clothing of both Airi and Nix as well, with Nix revealed as a lower castoff. We have word that an Izuruha figure will accompany a box set release of the four volumes of Ru Li Lu Ra manga (details in the next HJ issue). Word from Goodsmile as well that they’re producing a Kuonji Shinra figure from Kimigashu (no details yet), and a look at the MMS Yoko action figure coming from Konami in December. Last but not least we have Akashiya Moka from Rosario to Vampire coming from Shueisha on May 23rd at 5,000 yen, and what for me is the heart-stopping revelation of the issue: the Orchid Seed Ishiyama Satoshi-sculpted Witchblade Shiori kit scooped at the Miyazawa Model Exhibition is coming out in resin at Hobby Complex 02 this Sunday, November 25th. Holding my breath until the PVC announcement… visual evidence below:

So goddamn hot… The lighter alternate color version is Hobby Japan mail order only, though Play Asia will probably have it up for preorder as well.
Definitely going to get Shizuka, as I had been collecting Megahouse’s Queens Blade figures (got all previous 6, minus the alternate color, and already preordered Airi and Nix). Going to skip Cattleya though

Thus far the kit is described as an event-limited resin, but if past Orchid behavior is any indication we should see the announcement of a PVC version in the next week or two.
I totally want Shizuka, i’m afraid i’m going to have to say it’s one of the best looking pieces i’ve ever laid eye’s on, even the breasts look perfect.
I hope Play-Asia get her up for pre-order, it’s probably the only way i’ll get a hold of her.

Guess I’ll skip the alternate colour version. The Yen’s getting too strong for me to indulge in alternate colours of the same figure sculpt.

Not interested in the Shizuka, sadly enough. But now I wish I’d been able to get in on the Nix – she looks way better under the clothes than the ‘with clothes on’ look! Well, guess I’ll need to wait it out and see if I can find stock of her..

Yep. Didn’t know nix’s bottom castoffable. No wonder she’s out of pre-order faster than any other QB figures (except maybe the 1st one, Reina)
Well this reinforces that my preorder of Nix was well placed. Shizuka is a vision, but I doubt I’ll get a crack at the lighter version here in the US. Airi looks like she’s gonna turn out better than I expected as well.
For me, any Queen’s Blade figure is a safe bet. Shizuka’s no exception.
Even if that Shiori comes out in PVC, is there any hope of it being castoffable?
And speaking of, when is Cattleya gonna be confirmed to be castoffable, with pics to prove it? I’ve got mine pre-ordered, but I’d still like pictures… Just curious.

Where exactly can i see pics of the castoff Nix? Or is there none online yet? I’m deciding if I want to order her as well. that line in her leg, IS a tiny bit distracting.. Just curious if there’s pics of her in her B-suit :)

There are no uncensored images of Nix online yet, what you see here are all that have been published. I expect we won’t have any visual evidence until she hits store shelves later this month, or until the next issue of Hobby Japan is released (whichever is sooner).
I can’t remember where but I believe that Nix will be a full cast-off. Similar to Erina of the Queens blade line. I’ve also been fortunate enough to have bought every pvc incarnation of the Queens Blade line so far but Cattleya will be the Jewel of the collection. Here’s waiting for Listy!
