I got my Alter Kanu Uncho statue, – looks good next to my Shunya Yamashita Arisa and Sera Chan… but I wonder if anyone has any pics/reviews as to how to remove the upper torso so that I can remove the packaging plastic so that I don’t wreck it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I preordered mine. Got the four color variation of the 1st Kanu Statue blue, red, black, grey. Gothic White, and this one gotta get the ones that look right. I don’t like some of the Kanu statues made because it’s not in her likeness or something.

Getting this one. Hope for cast off, doubt it though, still cool to get. 6 Kanu Statues.

there are better Kanu renditions coming from other makers (Griffon & Yamato) and 7140yen is just too much, it’s nice, but nice isn’t enough unless you are a completionist.

Thanks opai_man. You’ve saved me some cash. And I agree. 7k yen for a 1/8 figure is a bit too much. From the prototype, the shirt looks to be a whole piece. So any castoff will have to be user modified. And for a 7k yen figure, I don’t think I’ll be cutting up the top just to see a pair of 1/8 scale boobs.

From this and the dark saber, it seems Alter’s prices have gone up. :(

There is no castoff for this kanu, if you guys look properly. The 15+ rating is for the weapon that she’s holding – looks extremely sharp pointed one there. 7k yen for a 1/8 pvc figure is quite expensive unless its castoff-able. Not like megahouse’s QUEEN’S BLADE and TSUKASA BULLET,their 1/8 castoff-able figures pricing are still reasonable.

Great likeness with the Alter assurance of quality, but what is with the increasingly ridiculous prices? Alter 1/8 figure RRPs were under 5000 yen earlier this year :S
