Joining the chorus of bajillions of other anime blogs that have no doubt already reported on this, Moon Phase diary posted early this morning with the news that a second season of Gundam 00 is scheduled to air in October of 2008. Speculation arose when it was first revealed that 00 would only run for half a year that it would be followed in its coveted Saturday evening prime time slot by a second season of Code Geass, and while this has not been confirmed the news that the slot will be vacant from April through September is highly suggestive – something has to go there, so why not make it a show that’s actually good? Haven’t had one of those since FMA… we’ll be keeping a close eye out for any further news of a possible Geass sequel. (no more)
i saw yukana (seiyuu for CC) at the pacific media expo last weekend. she couldn’t talk about season two of code geass so most likely there will be one.
and on a side note, she was really cool and had a two hour autograph session after it was cancel the day before. i thought it was gonna be ax all over again haha. glad she wasn’t one of those only first 100 gets an autograph like most others are.
code geass r2 was announced to be released in april 2008 just because they wouldnt talk about it doesnt mean its not comming out
