Very steep price, yet a very tempting set of goodies.

The collector in me can’t really resist, think i’ll give it a a few more weeks and see if it becomes available anywhere else and wait for some more prices and details on the actual Treasure box.

Christ, for 15’000 yen I could buy a lot of porn… Talk about, ahem, milking the series…

I used to enjoy Ikkitousen, but Shiozaki’s continuous plagiarism of Oh! Great sensei and the overall lack of long-term direction for the series made me quit reading. I may be a fan of Kanu Unchou, but I’m staying far from this.

Oh, and Shingo: I’ve checked out some of the episodes of Dragonaut the Resonance on Youtube. Given the character design origins, there is an unforgivable lack of, uhh, ‘milkshakes’ in the episodes. I guess they couldn’t quite pad the budget enough to animate Machina’s & Mclauren’s chests to a significant degree.

Jokes (and fetishes) aside, I agree with the comments that the price is quite steep (especially with the rising yen). Looks like they’re milking the fans for all it’s worth. Can someone say Mattel Star Wars/Yamato Macross? :)

Still, that face sculpt of Hakufu is spot on. Good work from Griffon. :)

Anyway, I think I’ll just stick to the Satoshi ED to satisfy my ikkitousen fetish.

Yeah- I am liking the bust/figure head situation. The cards are nice too- I like just about everything this kit has to offer. But the price is too much. I have to see that head on a figure and get the height and stuff….

But yeah- the price is for the hardcore. What is really sad IMO- Ikkitousen is a really shitty manga/anime……I mean for all the ones out there- it sucks….

But whatever….

Maybe the price is jacked up by the usage of Griffon for the bust? Their resin/cold casts cost you so much, they aren’t really cheap. I’m not sold yet either. If you got a good shot of the items (larger and more detailed), then maybe, but there’s better things to get, I think…
