My hands are shaking as I type this, trying to restrain the complex yet primal web of emotions surging forth at the news that anime character design god Uno Makoto has produced a compiled volume of his illustrations set for release from Shueisha on November 30th. Dubbed “UNO!” the book (ISBN 13: 978-4-08-782160-4) will retail at 2,800 yen and feature illustration work from recent anime he has designed, including Dragonaut, Witchblade, and Uchuu no Stellvia. The page count and format are still unknown, but Mangaoh has a preorder page up and Amazon should soon as well. Thanks to cortana for the orgasm-inducing promotional image below! Update: it seems Shueisha has an official page up to promote the book, according to which it will be A4 size and contain an A3-size original poster as well as a complete collection of his Newtype column art. Tanoshimi da wa~

Beyond another volume of his futanari doujinshi or a second season of Stellvia this is the best possible news I can think of coming from Uno… Why oh why must we wait an entire month for this glorious bounty? ;_;
Hmmmmmm- that looks tasty!!!
I will have to see more pics though or a review from this site to help me along though…….
Man, it’s Uno Makoto… I suppose he does cater to more maniac tastes, but I can’t imagine not running out to buy this the minute it hits store shelves. ^^;; There will certainly be a review here for your perusal!
Man I love all the artwork of those series! And it can all be traced to this Ono guy! Awesome. He even released a doujin? Which one?

Uno Makoto was highly active on the doujin scene back in 1998-2000, using the handle Macha (まっちゃ) of doujin circle OZONE. His doujin site is long gone and virtually no traces of his work remain online (here is [ERO] one), but it occasionally pops up on image boards.
Rumor has it that he recently surfaced under a pseudonym on social networking site Mixi and has been drawing futanari again, but I haven’t been able to substantiate this.
OH! HAPPY DAY!
BTW, Shingo, do you know if Umemaro’s Lewd Examination Room has been released yet? There does not seem to be news…

It’s very much out and about, both on store shelves in hard copy and available for purchase via download. If you’d like me to dig up some links I’d be happy to oblige.
Well well! Seems he’s been readying himself for an artbook, eh? Always a good thing! ^_^
It might be a must for oppai lovers!
Also the book(author has a nice tittle. “Uno!” in Spanish means “One!” :)
LOL- This is why I love this site- Shingo goes “Uno Makoto”, I go “who”? I am then educated on who this fine artist is and shown more work.
Love love love!!
Oh and by the way- the picture of the angel girl with a penis? That wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me in real life- =)
OH… MY… GOD…
I can’t wait for this! Any news on Ino’s artbook?

Indeed there is! Amazon now has a cover image up for the volume, which is apparently entitled “Velvet Skin”, and is still scheduled to go on sale on November 17th. I probably won’t get my copy until the 30th but will definitely be reviewing when I can.
oh man this is a dream come true. I must have this book.
Oh sweet! I cannot wait for this. Time machines must be invented, so that I can have this book now.
Has anyone found a site which ships to the U.S. that has this book up for pre order?
>>savage
Mangaoh ships to the US, and they have it up for preorder right now. Amazon doesn’t seem to have it listed yet, alas.
Thanks shingo. I feel kinda silly now since I checked the Mangaoh site and all I saw was moonspeak and quickly disregarded the fact that they might actually ship outside japan. Thanks again.
Ayaaa I’ve found an artbook fan who blogs about them too! LUV ^_^
This book is definitely on my Amazon Japan wishlist.
Has anyone found a copy of Uno! still in stock where I can order from? :|
>>MrDisco
…wow, it seems to be sold out at both Mangaoh and Amazon.co.jp at this point. I’ll be doing a review shortly and will look for alternate options then, but it may be that you’re out of luck until the book is reprinted.
MrDisco
HLJ has it up for preorder, im sure they will list is as in stock on monday unless it sells out before then.
