When I first spotted this figure in the pages of Tech Gian last June I wasn’t quite convinced of her allure. After she was listed for preorder and a few more sample images began to surface however I realized that I’d be forced to trust my luck with Wafuudou yet again - the prospect of the combination of cute and ero from Nanao Naru and Cerberus Project was just too hard to ignore. She came in last night, just in time to ask the question: what would you do if Halloween girl said “Trick or Treat“?

I’m not normally a huge fan of Nanao Naru’s designs and I cordially detest the work she did for Da Capo, but when combined with the sculpting artistry of Cerberus Project’s Sunny Day magic happens. The color scheme, costume and pose chosen by Nanao are rendered less generic under the experimental strokes of Sunny Day’s carving knife, resulting in a pleasantly unconventional yet harmonious kit.

Wafuudou’s production quality here is quite solid, altogether one of the best pieces of work I’ve seen from the brand. There are no egregious seams (other than the nape of her neck as revealed after castoff), the paint job scores high marks in every aspect from trim work to shading to variety of gloss and matte finishes, and the little touches on the pumpkins and ghosts make them come alive in a (not so) spooky diorama.
This kit has a lot of fetish points to recommend it, whether you’re into twintails, Nanao Naru designs, sexy sculpts or pumpkins (I’m sure there are some pumpkin fetishists out there) this is one that comes in as a no-brainer, a solid kit worth picking up if it at all strikes your fancy. I’m happy to see Wafuudou producing at this level of quality, and have high hopes for the future kits in their pipeline!

The cylinder case is awesome! …But seriously, what’s with the back of her neck x_x?
