We’ve already covered most of the exciting news from this issue of Hobby Japan thanks to some early leaks (Cattleya in color and various Lineage II and Queen’s Blade items, etc.), but now that the magazine is officially on sale one final item caught my attention: Goodsmile and Comic Gum will be teaming up to bring this previously mail order only Ryomou Shimei PVC to us in full and wide release (though in an alternate color). Sculpted by French Doll of circle Cerberus Project, this black version of the original blue-trimmed kit is slated to go on sale in January of next year at 1/7 scale (28 cm tall) and 7,800 yen retail. Magazine scan below:

I’m a bit bummed that I couldn’t get the original blue kit for its superior color scheme, but this will do quite nicely as a consolation prize… Now that the first two figures (Hakufu and Ryomou) from this summer’s set of three limited editions have been announced in alternate colors, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before Kanu joins their ranks as well – and she’s a castoff. :3 I wonder if her alternate color will be black like the other two…
Damn! Why are they releasing so many wonderful figures in such short time?
We are not made of gold.

Even if we were made of gold, it would hurt to break parts of ourselves off to pay for stuff. ;_;
Yeah…it would hurt if you were a sissy!!
Take me gold pinky!! Me gold pinky for some pvc goodness!!!
=)
I’m not a big fan from Ikkitousen figures, but this one looks very nice.
I don’t know why, but this has to be the best of her, and I really want it! ^_^
Just when I’ve decided not to get the [Comic Gum/GSC]Sonsaku…My fave Ikkitousen character gets released and in one of her best rendition yet in statue form! There is no more room in my monthly figure budget, nooooooooooooooooooo! T_T
