2chan’s mokeiura board is a gift that just keeps on giving, tonight divulging further scans from the as-yet unreleased December ’07 edition of Hobby Japan. In addition to Cattleya in color we have further Queen’s Blade news: the Medicos Entertainment trading figure set that has been listed on the official QB site for months is finally in color with a release date of mid-February ’08 (Nowa and Reina shown here); also Griffon keeps hammering away at their resin / cold cast lineup with a new Nix and designs for several other kits in the pipeline. In Lineage II news we have word that Yujin is releasing a capsule figure set of the game’s female characters at 300 yen each, and word from Goodsmile that preorders will be opening soon at their official online shop for the reissue of their Dark Elf female mage. Finally, news is in that Toy’sworks is planning the release of a Manabi Straight trading figure set, due out in late February. All this and more can be seen in the images below:
I was wondering if any other online retailers such as hobby search would carry Dark Elf female mage figurine?
That’s a good question. According to the information in the scan here it will be available from the official Goodsmile shop for sure, but whether it will appear anywhere else is still unknown. We’ll be watching for further news.
The Queen’s Blade resins from Griffon look really nice (Ekidona,Tomoe and the new Airis version)
But they are awfully expensive.Do they worth it,in quality terms?

Japanese fans have been slow to buy some of the Griffon Queen’s Blade cold casts, though obviously the resins are selling well enough that they keep on making them. I wish they’d drop the cold cast line all together and move in the direction of Orchid Seed (occasional resin releases quickly followed by their PVC counterparts).
Here’s hoping at least one or two of those QB kits see the light of day in PVC, although come to think of it Bandai / Megahouse / Hobby Japan may not allow anyone else to make PVCs of the Queen’s Blade characters… Now I’m curious, I’ll try to look into this.
Phew, I’ve been away for much too long from the anime figure world! Great to hear that Goodsmile is deciding to release the Dark Elf figure. I wonder how limited their figures are then, I paid quite the premium for my Goodsmile 1/6 scale Azusa from Idolmaster (well worth it!)
We’ve also recently been seeing a lot of releases of older figures…
More Scanssssssssssss!!! Please More Quality Scans Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cold You Post more???

I don’t have the magazine yet, it doesn’t hit store shelves until tomorrow. These are scans pulled from mokeiura, and they’re all that was there; if you keep a look out on the board others may appear as well, otherwise I’ll probably be doing another wrap-up post tomorrow after I pick up the magazine. Sorry I can’t oblige quite yet.
Is that an articulated Shana figure I see on the second image?
>>Anonymous
Yeah, that’s how it seems. Details are still pretty sketchy, though.
If that gorgeus Dark Elf get a regular release, I’ll get her!
Thank You, anyway, Shingo!

It turns out that what you see here is all the material that was available in this month’s issue. I’ll post anything more I can find when it appears.
