Goodsmile updated their official site today with two items of Max Factory news: firstly that a Kotona Elegance (costume ver.) PVC figure from Zoids: Genesis will be coming from the brand in February of next year at 1/7 scale (18 cm tall) and 6,800 yen; and secondly that their POLO System [ERO] Kokonoe Rin PVC from Kodomo no Jikan will be reissued yet again, scheduled for rerelease in November. Great news for the Kotona fans, and great news for Max’s wallet with the reissue timing… given current circumstances they shouldn’t have any trouble at all selling as many castoffable Rin figures as they choose to produce. I love the Kotona pvc- and I JUST got it in resin…..gahhhhhhhh!! And how is the Kokonoe Rin figure castoffable? I haven’t seen any mention of that anywhere?

Well, I’ll wait for Kotona to arrive before making judgement (she’s sitting down – a pet peeve of mine), but Rin is a must-get, since I missed out on the initial run, and HLJ stiffed me bad on the first re-issue. So, I’ll be looking to put her on preorder through Hobby Search next, since they -never- stiff me…
Rin is castoffable in the shorts department. She is cute (got her some time ago). I once saw a photograph without her top and this looked very nice loli indeed…Tried to get it off but failed: only way is to cut it which I am not going to do ;)

Hobby Stock’s [ERO] Rin review has her full cast off, both shorts and shirt. As nirodha says it seems the only way to remove the shirt is to cut it off, but it might be worth the effort for some.

Nice Rin castoff figure. However, I’m not into loli. :)
I do have 1 and only 1 preteen figure. And it’s witchblade’s Rihoko Masane. That’s because I think she’s the daughter I always wanted but will never have.
And she’s so accurate when compared to her anime drawings that I just couldn’t resist.
Oh well, I can always adopt, I guess. No point producing more humans on an already overpopulated earth. :)
