I try to be as thorough as possible, and I'm happy to hear that some people appreciate that. As far as a list of makers by quality, that's a good idea for an entire separate post. Worst Something like that... it's hard to rate the broad middle swathe of makers because their quality is often not consistent (they may land a really amazing sculpt but not finish it well, or have a boring sculpt with decent production values, etc.).

Your reviews and accompanying photos are the reasons I found your site and continue to visit each day (specifically, it began with your write-up of MegaHouse’s Koyori). Thanks for the insightful reviews.

You mentioned Wafuudou as being in the second tier of figure makers when it comes to production quality; would you mind running down a list of who you think are the best and the worst?

Shingo, I don’t know whether you already do this, but warming the plastic with a hairdryer might help when attempting to remove some of the more stubborn castoffs. The PVC will reform to its previous shape once cooled.

I really loved Angela the first time I see her in the Cerberus Project stand.

I didn’t like the quality of the previous Iris so I picked a prepainted resin of Angela instead of the pvc.

But this pvc Angela doesn’t look bad at all.

I liked the look of both Princess Waltz figures from the promo pics, but the end product’s had pretty sloppy production values so I passed. Didn’t know both of them were cast-offable though, that ought to be an incentive for many collectors :P

Very nice. I like Iris better, but this is nice too. Shame neither are able to be bought for me, as I have to remain low for the next few months due to me buying so many upcoming figures already. I just can’t afford these too! :P
