We reported two weeks ago on the announcement of a La Pucelle Prier PVC figure coming from Wafuudou Ganguten, and now here she is! Hobby Stock’s listing confirms the figure’s December release date, 25 cm height, 8,980 yen price (ouch….) and sculpt by the peerless Yamanaka Eiji of circle Tekkoryuu. The high price on this will likely cause many to hesitate, a damn shame given the figure’s many obvious merits (though I do hope future production shots reveal an amended face sculpt). (no more)
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh….dang dang dang dang. So much non-money I have not available to me…translation- I’m freaking broke.
Me want this figure.
Up for PO at HS now. Strangely enough their MSRP is listed at 8800 yen and sale price is almost the same as hobbystock’s. A misprice perhaps?
I think amiami is selling at 7174 yen. She is quite big considering her stubby legs.
wasn’t always sure about this design. the legs look a bit too big for me.
That’s the appeal of this figure to alot of people- the thick legs and stocky size, almost realistic proportions.
It’s what’s making me stare at this figure for a while…
I’m a fan of the stocky look, largely as a variation from the endless parade of spindly, twiggy legs of other figures (though I like those as well). :3
Shingo your secret love of stockiness was already given away in your review of Iroha (the Chunky) ;)
I pray for a better face sculpt too !
How is the face different from the original look- I can’t really see any difference and this face sure doesn’t look flawed to me…

You’re right, I think it may be more a function of the light in which she’s shot here than an actual defect of the sculpt. Pictures of the original kit don’t differ in fundamentals, but there’s something about the combination of the paint job and the lighting of this sample that doesn’t sit quite right with me…
