Word is in from GA Graphic today that Movic has begun production on a Corticarte Apa Lagranges (adult version) PVC figure from Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica. She’s due out in January of ’08 at 5,880 yen retail, 1/8 scale (21 cm tall), and with a sculpt from Yami Yoroi (Yamiyo no Hikari), another member of invincible sculpting circle Tekkoryuu. Despite some sketchiness in the Movic production values, in my opinion this sculpt kicks Goodsmile’s Corticarte to the curb – she’ll palm your face and rub it into her capacious bosoms until you agree. Goodsmile’s Corticarte is nice but it wasn’t enough for me to pre-order it. This sculpt is loads better. I’m not sure if she’ll fit in my budget for Jan but I definitely want her.
mmhh I’m not that enthusiastic about this version. Still prefer what GSC will propose.
The Goodsmile one didn’t do it for me- right from the start I wanted Corti in her adult form and this figure looks like it will fit the bill nicely.

Goodsmile version is more towards loli and movic is gear to be more mature. I’m taking the movic version ;)

Both equally nice to me. But I probably wait for my movic sekirei figs to come in first to check on their quality before ordering more movic stuff.
