Moeyo! Akibajin Blog has a sample review up today of the Creator’s Labo CL #014 Arisa PVC figure from Yamato that we’ve been following since the end of July, and it brings good tidings: her top has been crafted as a clean castoff. Leave it to Moeyo to be a tease with the censored shots as usual, but this confirmation hopefully means they’ll be paying attention to the appropriate details beneath her shirt. In other Arisa news, Yamato has a page up on their official site detailing her production with some nice Yamashita-illustrated details and close up shots of the kit. This release just keeps looking better and better… :3 You can support HD by preordering her at Play Asia or J-List. (no more)
I’m happy to have preordered her, she looks very high quality one
The face really turned me off this one.
I’m a fan of her perpetually surprised look. :3
Not that I’d want to see it on every figure ever, but I think it works here.
That’s all the more reason for me to get Arisa! Hehehe! ^_^
i like her face a lot actually. not sure if im willing to pick her up yet, but she’s really nice.
Dang………DANG!!! More and more this pvc looks great……..
Same here, the face killed the deal for me.
Would love to have her but the November budjet won’t take it. Why must some many nice figures come out in November why???? ;-(
She will be mine, oh yes, she will be mine! :D
Hey, a question for those more knowlegable than I:
What is the largest ero figurine that anyone has ever heard of being offered? Most seem 1/7 scale, but I was wondering how big they can go.
Thanks!
@jeff: i think the largest i have personally seen is 1/4 scale, but i bet someone else can dig up a 1:1 figure. (if you can even call it a figure at that point)
>>Jeff Flowers
As hageshiku says, 1/4 scale is the typical upper limit when it comes to ero figures (and figures in general). A good example is the Uesugi Kenshin resin kit from Sengoku Rance produced by Volks for Wonder Festival 2007 Summer.
Once you start talking 1/1 scale you’re entering the domain of realdolls and the like, which aren’t exactly figures… Some of the fixed-pose statues produced by Paper Moon are “castoffable”, and those are probably the closest thing you’ll get.
@shingo: whoa, ive never seen those paper moon things. the saber with the real girl cosplaying as rin next to her is pretty awesome :p
This makes me glad I got in on the ground floor on the preorder. Not for the cast-offability, but for the fact that with this option, the figure will sell out real quick, and so I still have a chance to get it given I preordered on the same day it was offered at HLJ…
Thanks Shingo and Hageshiku!!
Well there was a 1/1 of Sumomo from Chobits, and if I remember right a 1/1 of May from Hand Maid May. But then again in the anime they weren’t that tall to begin with. ;-)
