First unveiled at Wonder Festival this summer, Max Factory’s Tsuruya-san PVC figure from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu has finally arrived! According to Goodsmile’s page she’s set for a January ’08 release, at 5,800 yen retail and 1/8 scale (20 cm tall), with a sculpt from Max veteran Chieri. Now that she’s up at Goodsmile preorders should start appearing any time now… (no more)

Glad I didn’t jump on Alter’s sculpt last month. MaxFac’s Tsuruya has better facial sculpt and a more dynamic pose imho.

Ohhhhh- I’m liking this figure- very nice sculpt and pose. I have Chieri’s “Please Teacher” pvc and it’s one of my favorites in my collection. I’m easily a fan of the work he (?she?) does.

After a second look this version is looking better than Alter’s. I guess I’ll have to do some changes in my preorder page…
By the way, Hobbystock already has the figure on preorder. That means that HobbySearch and HLJ should follow soon.
Saw this today on Hobby Search’s Feed. I will wait for HLJ as per usual, but this is a must-own too! ^^ I never bothered with Alter’s version, as I new that Max would come out with her sooner or later! ^_^
