Another thing about playing Queen’s Blade: you have to hand your book to your opponent to play. Not very encouraging for oollectors who like their stuff in pristine condition, unless they can find someone they trust absolutely.

Does anyone actually seriously play this game? Just curious.

Well from what I’ve gathered by browsing through the rules, learning to play is kinda easy, but apparently mastering it is hard. I’ll look it up a little more before deciding whether to get a book or not.

My main peeve is that the complexity of QB will never reach the level of the collectible card games I used to play. Nothing ever does, really.

Unfortunately, I’m doubtful that anyone at my university plays it. Curse Gunma!

I’m a big follower of TOURS (own pretty much all the doujinshi, been frustrated numerous times by the lack of website) so this is pretty interesting news to me.
Not necessarily HiME/Otome parody as such, there’s a recurring storyline in them all with some sidegags and such. But yeah. TOURS has done a marimite one, too.
Anyway, I have to admit I’m pretty interested in what Iku will do with QB, I’ve not particularly been interested in the QB stuff until now.

I would actually be quite interested in Queen’s Blade, but there’s no one to play with here in the deep countryside.

At least some of the other goods are pretty good.
