I thought the paint job was decent in the first Chichinoe+ figure, I’m not sure what’s happening with this new one… here’s hoping it’s just an epidemic of spectacularly bad lighting. =_=;;

In the previous Chichinoe figure the paint was OK.Wasn’t it?
Don’t know why they take the trouble adding the soft breast and don’t pay attention to the skin tone.

The photos in the AkibaOS coverage seem to have the most natural lighting of any thus far, and they look a bit better than Akiba Hobby's, but still not as nice as one would hope. :/

Well,I would say “yellowish” (does that word even exists?)
Sadly in Moeyo’s pics the problem is also visible.

And for me the best part of the original model was that “fleshy” tone.It was lovable.

Yeah, I’m rather alarmed by the skin tone as well, especially in the Akiba Hobby sample shots. She looks really… I don’t know, “waxy”? I hope it’s just bad lighting. ;_;

I have this preordered in HLJ from some months ago.
It looks very well modeled but the skin tone is not right.Where is that nice white and pink tone?

I’ll wait to see the final product,but I’m seriously thinking in canceling this one.

I think Play-asia will eventually have it in stock, albeit for a VERY short time. Ordered my Mai Shiranui 1/6 figure from there; next day, they were out of stock. So keep an eye out!

Yeah, unfortunately the places with the best prices (HLJ and Hobby Search) don’t have affiliate programs. I wouldn’t pay the extra $30 either; they’re trying to get away with murder, in my opinion, and it serves them right if business goes to more reasonably-priced shops.

Play Asia’s prices seem to be at a happy medium where the few extra bucks can justify ponying up to help through an affiliate, though they’re not carrying this particular figure, alas.

I’m always one for supporting a good place, but to buy this figure at a $30 markup as opposed to buying it cheaper (by a LOT) at HLJ, I must say I can’t support that, sorry. Besides, I don’t want this figure anyway…

Shame HLJ doesn’t support affiliates! ^^

pass on the figure.

yesasia is soooo slow. also it doesn’t work with my firefox. i ordered a figure from them and now it’s on hold. they wanted me to send them a copy of my credit card over to them by e-mail, what the hell is that about? they still haven’t responded to my e-mail to them.

sorry about that. the figure doesn’t look that great to me. not my type i guess.
