Goodsmile has just put a page up on their official site for Freeing‘s 1/4 scale (42 cm tall (!!)) bunny girl Nagato Yuki PVC figure. She joins Mikuru, Haruhi, Tsuruya, and Kyon’s sister in Freeing’s super-sized PVC lineup, and may be the last (but certainly not least) of their Haruhi figures; she’s scheduled to go on sale in November at 11,800 yen retail. A tempting item indeed, but I’m not entirely sure she’d fit in the box I use to shoot figure reviews… With her up at Goodsmile preorders should commence shortly. (no more)

The only one I have from this set is Haruhi. I think I will buy Nagato and with some luck, will hunt for Mikuru…thats plenty of cash…Hope someday I can read your figure reviews on Haruhi…she looks nice in my room.
Looks nice and all, but not really feeling the pose. Even though I say that, odds are I’ll still try to pre-order Yuki if I have the cash.

hobbystock? i ordered her yay! i hope i get it. don’t want to miss out on it like i did with Tsuruya, which i really really wanted still.
Hmm… The problem with a character like Yuki is that her sex appeal doesn’t really come from her body – any way you look at it, she hasn’t got much of a figure. And when you don’t have much to work with in that regard, the pose is all that much more important. Which makes it especially disappointing to see that here she’s just sort of standing around, admittedly looking nice from behind but just plain awkward from the front.
The pose seems to suggest a sort of smug sense of sexiness on Yuki’s part, just the faintest hint that she’s actually enjoying the bunny cosplay. You can see it clearly in the back shot, the way her hips are positioned is far from casual – and, as a consequence, also far out of character. The slightly bowed head (although admittedly that might be adjustable, I’m not familiar with the figure line) reinforces this – it’d be truer to Yuki’s character to look forward plainly, but here the sculptor has her looking down. Having her looking downwards gives the impression of a degree of bashfulness that is not only out of character for Yuki (she would likely just go along with the situation that got her into that costume there without too much thought and certainly without shame) but doesn’t match her posture either.
But that being said, regardless of how Yuki’s posed, owning that full set would be approximately the best thing ever. A shame it’ll never become reality for me…
well, well…I pre-ordered the other four and when there is a possibility I will pre-order Yuki. Who can resist Yuki ;) …Well, I can if she were only this figure. For once I have to disagree: she is the last (isn’t she?) ánd the least (in my humble opinion). This said, DMC is right: owning the full set would be great :)

All those bunny girls looks great together, though Haruhi is still the one I prefer.
Anyway, not enough room and money to have all of them, and even if I had it, I missed them hehe.
Yuki butt is nice, but it’s too much money for just it. No bunny fetish at all…

It’s a well made figure and I adore Yuki to bits, but somehow Yuki in a bunny suit just doesn’t feel right to me. And honestly, I wouldn’t know where to put a 42cm tall figure XD
In and out already on Hobby Search, as usual for these silly figures. HLJ is slow with this as per usual, and even when they put it up I’m sure I’ll see it’s sold out at listing.
I have Tsuruya and Kyon’s Sister on preorder, though. ^^
I managed to nab Mikuru the first time out, and I got in on the 2nd round of Haruhi. I could have Kyon’s sister too, but that just stikes me as being too loli.
I didn’t get a chance to get Tsuruya, which I would have loved. I hope they do a second round on her as well.
As for Yuki, I just kind of glanced over the 42cm thing. It didn’t sink in until I saw the group shot and realized just how *tall* that is…. :P Not sure I’m feeling the pose, but I’ll order her if I have the chance.
